I'm on the back deck and have a winter bathrobe on over my clothes. It's freezing. Off to check temperature. 73* brrr, anything below 74 and I need a jacket and earmuffs. We're getting rain for the next couple of days, too. Jersey coastline.

We just came off of a week long heat wave in CA so today the 80's felt downright chilly! I am hoping we are done with the 100's, last week it got up to 115 several days!

Got my new Menzel coat today. just in time. The brick shade. The chick who John Travolta couldn't pronounce her name I can't print it either

@SharkE Didn't realize you were from Texas....... how long does it usually stay warm. Get out some extra blankets.

In Chicagoland we call that Fall but were going to be at 77degrees tonight.

Have to have the air blasting it's too warm.

At least your Gov won't blame everyone as to why he can't keep the air conditioning going and find something else to complain about.

@San Antonio Gal @hopi When I lived in West Texas we had AC whirling away until about the end of the second week of October. This cool snap is very unusual but there's undoubtedly more heat to come. We're having the sane thing in NM.

SharkE, I loved that coat in the brick. Wanted it but have no need for it. I have too many coats and jackets that I don't wear. It took all my strength to resist buying that gorgeous number. Great color for Fall.

I was hoping some of that cooler weather would head south, but nooooo, it's still going to be in the 90's in SA. But, they did say it will be less humid. Nice, but not enough for a needed heat break.

We leave windows open and wear shorts and tees in 50 degree weather here. Our high yesterday was 57, near record lows.

We often have wind chills below zero in the winter....48 below zero is the lowest windchill I remember. 34 below zero is the lowest actual temperature I remember. I can handle the cold but I hate the snow and ice.

I know your weather is different than ours. I hope your power grid doesn't have issues this winter.

Oh please! In the 50's is "freeze to death" weather? It's already been near 40 when I go for my morning walks here in upper Michigan.

It depends on the area. 50 degrees is great, just wear a light jacket or sweater. It's not freezing until it drops down to the 30's. Even then it's tolerable. Wait until it hits 10 degrees!

We are heading toward winter. Ugh.

temperature was fine in Atlanta yesterday, but it was cloudy and sometimes drizzly and misty. Drizzle, mist and gloomy are my least favorite weather things.
