Would You Want To

So I just finished the series Paper Girls on Amazon Prime, it has to do with time traveling. Twelve year old girls travel to the future and meet their grown up selves ( they want to go back to their own timeline). It got me thinking what if you could meet your future self, knowing how things would play out would you make changes as your younger self? I definitely would, my life didn't turn out as I hoped, if I could have course corrected it would have been better.

I would try to exercise more and eat healthier so as to avoid future weight gain. Otherwise, the outcome of my life has been a pleasant surprise. I never dreamed I'd be married to such a wonderful man for over 30 years.

I would not want to know what the future has in store. My life has turned out a lot better than I could have imagined it. As the previous poster mentioned, being married to the right person for over 40 years has made a big difference!!!!

Within my life there are a few things I would have changed, mostly about myself. Two big things I would have done was buy Apple and Amazon stock the day it was offered LOL

I once was told even if you veer off course as we all have free will, the Universe will provide another opportunity for those things meant to be.

IF I COULD, yes I would.....hindsight 20/20, if I knew then what I know now, and any other cliche I could think of.....I definitely would have done things differently.

Time has shown me that even when I was young and stupid I made wise choices that have given me a great life. I have no regrets, nothing I'd want to do over, or do differently. I'm in a better place than I could've even imagined.

I wouldn't change a thing, though my gratitude for coming through so far is humble, for events could have turned out very differently..

If I knew the future, I could have avoided some mistakes, but would not have learned as much as I did in life from making those mistakes.

I'd rather think about what I could change today and going forward. Seems to me a far better use of my time and energy. And unlike what I could change about the past, would help in in the future.

@Burnsite This is a paradigm in my life. We are here to learn and evolve. We are presented with life choices daily. I review the day without judgement before going to sleep. This practice helps me learn where I can improve in my life. Our mistakes provide us with the opportunity to grow. I am creating my future by my current thoughts, words, actions.

If I had changed course, I wouldn't have my kids and grandkids.

If I could still have my kids and grands, I would have gone to Law School and become an attorney for poor single parents.

A lot of things didn't turn out like I wanted but that's life. The key is what you do with the bad, how your handle the negative things in life.
