Don't like reviews that are not from QVC customers. I ignore them, but I wish QVC would stop using them.

I especially hate the reviews (from vendors) that say they are 'promotional', which we all know means that they received the product for free in exchange for a review.

If they give an honest or less than positive review, they won't get 'freebies' anymore....does anyone actually believe those reviews?

@Mindy D - I also don't like those reviews because they're all outstanding reviews and it just makes me wonder. I don't read them. I just read the Q reviews.

Thank you for mentioning this. I don't like it either! Especially when a new-to-qvc product comes out and it already has lots of reviews.

As well, I love Sunday Riley products but her company was sued for posting fake reviews - https://www.nytimes.com/2019/10/22/us/sunday-riley-fake-reviews.html

If qvc is going to allow crossover reviews from other websites are they also going to price match when those companies have sales?

I use reviews very cautiously whether I'm on QVC or anywhere else. For many different reasons, I don't find enough of them help me make a good decision.

It doesn't matter. You have no way of knowing if any of the reviews are true anyway. Most are probably made up or exaggerated.

Nope. If a person is getting freebies, they know it's because they are supposed to post a great review. And they do because they want more free stuff.

For product reviews I go to an independent source like Consumer Reports or other non-profit consumer run sites.....they give BOTH good and bad reviews.....
