TJMaxx and Home Goods

I went in there today, I was shocked to see holloween stuff already!!! wow they are rushing Summer. They had quite a bit. Is anyone else surprised or just me lol I was looking for candles, they had very few and some of them were holloween

Nah, never too early for Halloween!🎃

I think that once one national holiday (July 4th) is over, retail starts on the next, no matter how many months away it is.

I don't think I ever feel like my own season is rushed. But I kinda wish summer would hurry up now and be fall!

I went to Michael's today, a store I very rarely go to. I needed to get new flowers to put on my husband's grave this weekend.

All of the spring and summer fake flowers were in one area on clearance and two employees were there putting out the fake flowers in the fall colors. Yuck.

I like bright and colorful. Lots of pretty colors. I bought from the clearance section.

It's only July 11th and out come the mums. No thanks.

Hobby Lobby was putting out fall stuff July 5th when I was there. Phoenix summer cannot end fast enough. It's already 115 at 1:45 in the afternoon. The low was 90.

I wish it was really time for Halloween....maybe the weather might start getting a little cooler...I'm in Phoenix

Me too and I have never seen holloween stuff out so early, maybe I wasn't paying attention. It is 93 degrees where I am, lol no one wants to think about Holloween.

By the way, if you like Halloween, there's a clip on the "QVC+ and HSN+" app that shows Halloween things from Grandin Road. I didn't recognize the hosts but they were good. I saw it on Roku; other devices must have it too.

Shocked???? I'm not. Stores are usually preparing their inventory seasons ahead.

@ruthbe I don't but only because that means the days would be much shorter and it'd be dark much sooner.

I was in Marshall's on Saturday and most of the shelves were empty. My only thought was they were gearing up for Halloween. I wish they wouldn't rush the seasons lime that. I love summer and wait all year for it.

I really miss these stores like TJ Maxx, Home Goods, Pier One and others. They closed them quite a few years ago and it was fun to hang out in the stores and see what they had.

I loved the food section in the back of TJ.
