When I was much younger someone said: Here come da judge, who was that?

and who said "Rotsa Ruck? For Lotsa Luck? Old t.v. shows? Don't remember.

I remember the first one, since we watched it weekly. The second one, not sure of at all.

"Here come da' judge" was said on Rowan and Martin's Laugh-In by Flip Wilson.

The second one, maybe "Scooby Doo"?

@deepwaterdotter ...........Nope it was not Sammy, it was Flip Wilson. Sammy may have done a skit on a show with it but Flip started it.

Was it the Saturday Night Live character " Roseannadanna " created by Gilda Radner who said " Rosta Ruck ? "

" The character was based on Rose Ann Scamardella, a former anchorwoman of WABC-TV's Eyewitness News in New York City. The character later appeared in Radner's live one-woman shows."

That's just it. I was in Jr. Hi when the Rotsa Ruck was said. Bet it was a laugh in. I tried to Google the answer, and got nothing.

Seems like I remember "here comes the judge" being just one of the schticks they did on Laugh IN routinely. Like "Sock it to Me". I think they always had the guests say one or the other phrase. I clearly remember Richard Nixon doing "Sock it to me" and both SDJr and Flip Wilson doing "Here comes the judge".

Years ago I had the Decades channel on my Comcast and I used to watch Laugh In every day. I also remember my mother watching it religiously when it was originally on.

Really enjoyed The Flip Wilson show as well.
