@hckynutjohn My late husbands birthday was June 8th. He (and me too) loved kitties. I don't have one at the time but sure do miss having one.

I turned 68 this month. This birthday is bothering me a little. It's hard to believe I'm this close to 70.

However, I do my best to stay young. I love to mow and work in the yard. I plow my driveway and sidewalk in the winter. I have lots of friends and social activities. I help at 2 charities. I take care of my 90 yr old dad. I'm busier now than when I worked 60 hours a week.

Best gift ever was one of my sons (military, far away) facetiming so I could talk to my grandkids. The twins are 5 and the little one just turned 4. They sang to me, showed me what they learned in gymnastics and dance, read to me, talked a lot about what they do. They are so full of life and energy. My heart was full during the hour we spent together.
