Lovely to see the "girls" out today! I especially love the pictures in the tall grass, so very pretty!

The two deer facing each other are apparently discussing how much they love visiting you!

Bless our darling little Willow. The spaying will be over before she realizes it! I'll be thinking of all of you.

I hope your foot feels better.

Thank you for having Willow spayed. It is the responsible thing to do to control the pet population. She should also be healthier and live longer; I know you and Papa Wick are such good animal lovers.

I always like to see my gentle, wild friends. Willow, you must be in a deep sleep and don't worry about tomorrow -- it will be a piece of cake and we will all be here to comfort you, especially mama and papa.

@godi I know what you mean. I copied and saved several photos especially the one with the fawn touching her mama's face with hers. That photo shows me love and affection.

A variety of deer today - (my imagination is reflected below):

1st pic - Mr. & Mrs. Deer (taking a stroll through the beautiful high grasses. How romatic )

2nd pic - 2 sister deer looking for goodies

3rd pic - 2 girlfriend deer also looking for goodies

4th pic - guessing girl/boyfriend deer .. having a nice conversation

Sweet Willow is hiding again because she knows something's up for her tomorrow. Willow, I wish you well during & after your surgery. If you're not able to have your photo taken, just know we'll all miss you. We hope to see you Thursday.

The always favorite photo of mine the deer in the tall wild grass, so filled with nature. The photo of the two deer facing each other as though conversing. delightful !!! I have a smile on my face as I always do when I visit MamaWick's post!

Miss Willow White will get through her procedure and feel fine in time. She has plenty of beds to choose from and her lovely royal red blanket to cuddle in and rest. I wish her well! The sun will shine brightly for the deer and Willow!

@MamaWick ,Two weeks ago I was walking my dog up and down our driveway. Out of the corner of my eye I saw something move, looked over and there was a tiny fawn hunkered down and staring at me. They don't give off a scent so my dog never smelled it. I'm glad because he would've charged to the end of his leash and likely scared it. Their instinct tells them to stay put until Mom returns so I tried to get a picture from far away and stayed away the rest of the day. By evening it was gone.

Not sure how clear the pic will be. Hopefully, if you look in the drainage ditch you will see it.

I see him/her!

That must have been so great to see this little one.

When my granddog and I were out walking on the sidewalk a deer family approached us.I remember there being aobut 4 or 5 deer. We all just stared at each other. I slowly backed away and they went on their way.

My granddog was very calm and just watched. I was more afraid the deer might charge but I guess they didn't see us as a threat. I'll never forget our deer encounter!
