When I saw my informed delivery this AM, I saw a letter from NY state Taxation. When it comes to official things , I always assume the worst so of course the mail was a bit later than usual and my stomach was in a knot. Well it was a homeowner tax rebate check ! We haven't received one of these for a couple of years, so it wasn't on my radar. It won't change my life, but an unexpected check is always welcome. My stomach is unknotted. LOL 😀

These letters are so unsettling. Here in Oregon we often get our kicker tax credit, so at least I know it can be good news.

Just regular mail to me. Got one the other day from our Tax Assessor. Didn't need to open it to know our Property Taxes went up again. Even when real estate values were going down several years ago, somehow our Property Tax went up!

Panic? Not me, as long as I take the meds given me years ago, when Clinically Diagnosed with Panic/Anxiety Disorder. Just another day in my life like many others.
