If you could watch any movie with someone living or dead, whom would it be and what movie?

Robert Osborne! Any MOVIE! Our mutual friend, Toni Kaye, would throw a party at her house and he would be there and show fantastic film clips that included behind the scenes and back-stories concerning the making of the films. He was so fascinating and knowledgeable. He knew many of the actors and actresses in these films, and would sometimes include them, because they were his friends. I miss him.

When QVC first presented Bob Mackie's line, the clothes were beautiful. Mostly natural fabrics, cotton, linen, and all those beautiful silks. Like everything else on the Q, he had to cheapen his line over the years and offer fewer natural fibers and turn to that awful polyester/spandex that is all too prevalent everywhere. I had so many of his original QVC designs. I miss him too. He is a real gentleman and was always a pleasure to watch.

I would definitely watch a TCM evening of Bob's three Oscar nominated films ("Lady Sings the Blues", "Funny Lady", "Pennies from Heaven"), plus his first full costuming credit, "Divorce, American Style."

That would be a great evening at the movies.

Loved the interview. He is a delight & so talented. Miss him on the Q, especially earlier quality. Made me pull out 2 beautiful Mackie jackets I treasure to admire- the Elephant & the Windcatcher. Alas, don't dress this much "up" anymore. I miss that too.

Always loved watching Bob Mackie on Q. I have a beaded cardigan from his line ....every time I wore it I was complimented....I think it will always be in style.
