Daily Positive Thread for Tuesday

Hello my friends! Well today we didn't go outside at all - we stayed warm in our nice, warm house and we give Thanks for our warm house and not take anything for granted! Thank you, Jesus, for everything and for taking care of our needs, and our every concern! For Your words are, "Ask and you shall receive" and we do ask for everything we need and put our trust in YOU! And thank you in advance because we trust in YOU! At this moment our temp is -19 going down to -24 but - the good news is that that seems to be the worst and better days are coming soon!!! Blessings today besides having my dear husband near me all day - and a good nap - got to talk to two of my sisters today on the phone! Hoping and praying for all of you to stay warm and cozy! I see it isn't just MN that's getting it!

Faith is what lifts me to the level of possibility and opens the door to

God's promises. Lord, continue to strengthen my belief and bless me with

unyielding faith.

Scripture for the Day

Meditation for the Day

I can believe that fundamentally all is well. Good things can happen to me.

I believe that God cares for me and will provide for me. I need not try to

plan ahead. I know that the way will unfold, step by step. I can leave

tomorrow's burden to God, because God is the great burden-bearer. God only

expects me to carry my one-day's share.

Prayer for the Day

I pray that I may not try to carry the burden of the universe on my

shoulders. I pray that I may be satisfied to do my share each day.

Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who

love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

A Prayer that the Gospel may be 'written' in me

God our Father, until the time of the printing press, people copied the

Gospel, writing it by hand.

Slowly the Gospel took shape - both on the page and deep within themselves.

I ask that the Gospel - the Good News of Your Love - may be written in me

not with ink but with the Spirit of God.

Only then will I grow as a credible witness of the wealth of Your Love.

Unfailing Prayer to St. Anthony

O holy St. Anthony, gentlest of Saints, your love for God and Charity for

his creature, made you worthy, while on earth, to possess miraculous powers.

Miracles waited on your word, which you were ever ready to speak for those

in trouble or anxiety. Encouraged by this thought, I implore of you to

obtain for me (request). The answer to my prayer may require a miracle, even

Epiphany Prayer

Hey Gloria, stay warm. I think it is supposed to feel like 15 degrees below here in Pa. today, or some outlandish number. All I know is I'm staying in my nice warm house.

Harlene - We are staying warm, Linus isn't even going out, except for now - the mailman is stuck so he's trying to help him out! It didn't get as low last night as predicted, it's warming up - a bit! Soon it will be above zero again, a heat wave.
