Why would a company as large asClarks sell a shoe that was incorrectly sized.? Just my thought. I would never buy a shoe that was not my size. It is hard enough to purchase a shoe on line with the cost of returns that I think this is a ridiculous TSV. It will only make Clarks richer but not for me. I have had problems with regular shoes from this company before. Will not do it again.

Good question. If I had pre-ordered these before hearing Leah advise to size up I would have been furious. It's not like Clarks is a new vendor.

Except for the easy pay, which I guess is important to a lot of people, why not just buy directly from the website??? Same thing with the Land's End show last night. Why buy from QVC???

Leah said they are exclusive to QVC until later in the summer. August, I believe she said.

I tend to agree, although it does state on the product page to size up a half size.

Long before the pandemic increased the percentage of shoes ordered online, in a conversation with the owner of one of my favorite stores he mentioned that about 30% of all shoes ordered online were being returned.

It's no surprise to me at all that lots of companies recommend sizing up or down. Even though I buy locally only from shops that have trained fitters, I have 3 different sizes of shoes in my closet.

I don't really like the look of the TSV. I do own many different Clarks shoes/sandals and I really like them. That said, I haven't always had good luck with the sizing but mostly. I find for me though, I tend to size up a 1/2 size in this style of sandal anyway. My pet peeve is when my heel hangs off the back of a sandal. I think it's good that they at least have it in red letters if you are ordering. Hope those who order are happy.

Fair point, @geezerette . I have to admit that I didn't even look at the product page since I wasn't interested in purchasing. It appears that QVC has tried to get the correct size info. to the customer. But it still seems to me that it shouldn't have happened in the first place.

@godi There is often an issue with sizing on Clark's TSVs. I remember one several years ago that was so narrow, most people couldn't get it on their feet. As godi says, Clarks screwed up so you get a defective TSV. It's called a "dump job".

Clarks used to be really good shoes when they were made in England. Now they are manufactured in China and I no long have any luck with them.

Clark shoes are NOT made in China, other countries yes.

I have never had a sizing issue or any other issue with Clark shoes.

A lot of other shoe brands on QVC say size up or down, why is it an issue with Clarks?

@kaydee50 Those sport knit corduroy pants are 1/2 price on Lands End.

And nothing made in England.

@Cakers3 .......how odd when I googled Clarks shoes they named several companies and China was not one. A person just does not know who to believe these days. Very sad.
