Another good experience

My D&C capris arrived yesterday as estimated - they fit and I actually like the apricot color. Have already put together a few outfits from tops and blouses already in my closet.

No complaints, but one observation -- UPS must be on as ,uh overwhelm as the USPS -- it took 4 entire days from the time my package was checked in at the Atlanta warehouse until it got to the my post office. Usually that part of the delivery is a day or a day and a half.

I'm also experiencing this bottleneck between UPS and USPS, about 4 days average. And some items are wandering around the country, they hit a post office 25 miles from my post office and off they go to somewhere else. Its like Christmas all over again.

I'm glad your D&C capris fit and you like them. I've never tried D&C clothing.

I dont' understand this part of your post:

I've never had a trouble with UPS or USPS. It's usually waiting for something to actually getting shipped out (and that could be from any retailer).

@Lucky Charm Lots of times I see posters who feel QVC should use UPS instead of USPO - I was just observing that had UPS not delay my package for a few extra days, I could have had my order even sooner. as I noted - it was an observation, not a complaint.

I buy nearly all my clothing locally - but I've been looking for cotton capris with pockets for a long time with no success. I hadn't ordered any D&C bottoms for years and years, so I was happy these worked so well for me.

So glad I don't need to mess with a return -- although there was a QVC return label included if I had needed it.

When Ups transfers to Usps, it always adds 2 days to the delivery. I have never had a situation in which I urgently needed the capris, sandals or lipstick I ordered so delivery in 6 days instead of 4 has never been a problem.

I have had issues with UPS delaying my orders right here in my town.

Two times recently with FOOD! Clearly a styro container with PERISHABLE on it should NOT be delayed!

I called UPS toll free, she took the info....and a local employee called me. Said she found my box and was having the supervisor deliver it....and they did.

Additionally, non-food items have been taking a nap in our local UPS.

So, I agree.

UPS seems to be having staffing issues as well.

FedEx is a nightmare. Says out for delivery for 4 additional days before it finally arrives.

I also am never in a hurry except when it is perishable food w/ dry ice melting!

In my location UPS was always THE BEST and always provided EXCELLENT service, but things have recently changed.

I have had problems with UPS even their "Premium Delivery Service"..I even called and spoke to someone at their Corporate Office since I paid for priority service for several packages, but all I got was service worst than USPS. ..Overall UPS's service has definitely declined.

If you go to UPS's Facebook Page you can read the different experiences....Meanwhile the drivers for UPS even air their employment complaints there and instead of feeling overwhelmed they complain about all the "down time" they are experiencing on the job---some said as long as 4 hours sitting there doing nothing!.....SMH

@millieshops was there a weekend involved? Where I am in Atalnta it usually takes one day for the transfer from UPS to USPS but a few days longer if a weekend is involved.

@millieshops I find the problem with delays is not so much ups as it is with the incompetent company (Newgistics?) hired to transport packages between ups terminals and the USPS. They create some really imaginative excuses, which we see on our tracking and they see to misdirected or misplace many things.

@millieshops do they have an elastic with some "give"? I once got some clearance ones and I was always pulling them up because it seemed like the elastic was stretched out.

@AuntG Excellent waist elastic - my apricot capris were one of the new colors for the season and very obviously brand new. I will most likely try to catch the fall new color offering - hope it's something I can use.
