So very happy and relieved to be able to share I just got a short text from Linda!!!!!

"God must love me. Almost died with a broken neck.

Wearing braces on neck and neck "ankhA"???

I can't hold the phone.

Tell ladies I miss a lot and their prayers saved me."

I am SOOOOO relieved!!!!!!!

Good to know she must be feeling a bit better if she's texting. I wonder if she has any paralysis? I'm afraid she's got a long haul ahead of her. Fingers crossed for a good and successful recovery.

@ECBG that word could be "arm". Don't know exactly when this happened, but do you think she's still in the hospital? That brace is the most uncomfortable thing but it helps a lot. Keeps you from moving. That's for the next few months until they decide what needs to be done.

We'll hear from her because she will get someone to let us know what's going on. She won't keep us in suspense.

From what she has written over the years, she has every and any bed available. As long as her head is elevated she will get some comfort. It will be different for her because now she will have others doing for her and she's not that kind of person, but she won't have a choice. That's why I understand her and like her because she's a lot like me. lol

It won't be easy but she'll be ok.

@ECBG even if you text once a day, don't be surprised if she does not answer. As long as she knows that we are thinking about her, and praying for her recovery that's what counts.

I remember recently she posted that her daughter would be spending a few months with her. Someone will keep us updated especially the daughter who knows about us from Colorado. That's the one that was planning to visit.
