Location, Location, Location

Well the forecast for over last night and this morning was 5 to 8" of snow. It's not unusual to have snow in April, but I was @#$& . Anyway a few miles away they were dumped on and even lost power ( heavy snow ), but here just a dusting. It is cold, but the next few days are warming up. Tomorrow is my b'day so it's like an early present that we were spared the mess. Sometimes location is everything. I love my part of the country, but enough already !

I was wondering if you would get hit. We had heavy rain and a thunderstorm that lasted for a couple minutes, but that was it. No flooding that i saw, though we've had plenty of rain in the past week or so. BYW, A very happy birthday to you tomorrow.

@Kachina624 , I'm sure it's lovely there. Like I said I love my state , it is beautiful and I appreciate the seasons, but sometimes winter overstays its welcome. LOL

@QVCkitty1 We had 5 or 6" of snow 3 weeks ago but it's now just a distant memory and we're definitely finished with that nonsense. We'll soon have the AC running.

Have memories of some slick snowy rides through western Pa heading through Marysville and onward to Olean or Ellicottville, NY .

Happy Birthday!

We received an inch or maybe a little more yesterday morning but it was gone by the afternoon. I'm not a snow/winter lover so I was not happy. It's supposed to be around 80 over the weekend.

@skatting44 We lived in the Philly suburbs when I was in HS and college, not far from West Chester, but I'm sorry to say I've never been to Western Pa.

We had a wierd weather event here in South Texas....and it hailed really bad in my sister's neighborhood and the sky was like night and I live 4 miles away and in my neighborhood the sun was shining and the birds were singing.....talk about scattered storms!

Weather is funny that way!

I just saw on Twitter that Amy Dickinson ( Ask Amy ) who is in Dryden NY. has been without power for 12 hours and it's still snowing.

At least I can say happy birthday! We had snow yesterday and probably sent it your way. As a consolation, it will be in the 60's by the end of the week, so I'll try to send it to you by Friday.

@shoechic We are in the same state but here in the southeastern part near the beach we had all rain and windy and cold. 39 tonight🥶. Go away winter...
