    <description>&lt;P&gt;Closing chapter of Me and My Remote Control ....&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The cable tech was here this afternon .... problem solved.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It was an issue with the new remote ..... he rebooted the box and gave me a different remeote.... works fine.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;He was in and out in about 15 minutes.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>No QVC TV!</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;EM&gt;And it's not comfortable watching TV shows on my computer .... sittng at the desk!&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;My remote control died and I can only watch one channel until the new remote arrives. I called cable co. yesterday - remote should be here in a couple of days.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;When I got home Saturday night - I used the TV remote to to turn on the TV, and then picked up the cable remote to change the station.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Remote was dead - so I hanged the bateries - the on/off worked - but could not change the channel.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Fortunately - the channel I'm stuck on (which shall remain nameless) is my favorite.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT color="#993300"&gt;That happened to my bedroom TV remote last year. &amp;nbsp;I paid extra to have it sent Express rather than wait for the free delivery option.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT color="#993300"&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;My satellite receiver does have channel up/down buttons that I could have used, but I just watched the other TV until the new remote arrived.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4"&gt;You all need interior antennas so you're not dependent on cable or satellite.&amp;nbsp; I watch QVC, Q2 and HSN over the air, as well as all the local channels.&amp;nbsp; Anyone in NYC ought to get fantastic reception and lots of channels.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

With any relatively newer electronic device, including remotes!&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="5" color="#000000"&gt;Whatever device it controls,&amp;nbsp;&lt;STRONG&gt;/reset/restart or unplug. &lt;/STRONG&gt;After doing this wait 10-30 seconds to give them time to reboot.&amp;nbsp;Most new electronics act up, and regardless of what you think, these steps are pretty easy to follow.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="5" color="#000000"&gt;Once the brains of these devices get scrambled, one of the aforementioned, just might be all it takes. They just disappeared from the guide.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;Are you happy with Direct?&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://community.qvc.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/205816"&gt;@WORKING GAL&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp; I like Direct TV&amp;nbsp; for the simple reason the cable company in AZ known as COX stinks and Direct TV is trash- I have a DVR tuner but not the genie as my house is not wired for that- I have noticed that it takes longer for the channels to switch on my tuners, I am sure because it is the older&amp;nbsp; equipment- but all works so right now I am not switching- the cable goes out very infrequently unless we have major thunderstorms and high winds and then it is only the HD channels that have the issue&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;The next chapter in the continuing&amp;nbsp;saga of my remote control .....&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The new remote arrived today, with a sheet of itsy bitsy printing (both sides of the paper) with instructions how to setup.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I inserted the batteries, reviewed the instructions (using a lighted magnifying glass) .... and pressed this and then that and then wait for two blinks, etc., etc.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Then, I got online and messaged the cable company's tech support - told them what I did and what didn't happen.&amp;nbsp; I had to take a pic of the remote and message the pic.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I got a "try this" and "let us now if it works" ....&amp;nbsp; it didn't.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Technician arrives tomorrow afternoon&lt;EM&gt;. (Personally, I think it's my cable box&amp;nbsp; and not the remote.)&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
