      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face="verdana,geneva" size="3"&gt;Just got my Mastercard statement and there was $1884 in fraudulent charges, half from Spectrum cable and half from Comcast cable. I don't have accounts with either. I've had the occasional problem over the years but nothing like this.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face="verdana,geneva" size="3"&gt;I notified my bank. They told me there is already $535 in fraudulent charges on my next statement.       <description>&lt;P&gt;I also set up Alerts for any charge over a certain amount....I had one fraudulent charge last year and they notified me right away and was taken care of shortly there after..&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Just Flipping Wonderful! When are companies going to be required to do more than say sorry &amp;amp; pay a fine to each customer that gets screwed over, I'm fed up with this bs.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;You are the one with the fraudulent charges, probably because someone had your card and your identifying information and they have Cable in your name.&amp;nbsp; I assume your bank canceled that card and is issuing you a new card and I assume you called Comcast to report the fraud to them.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

My bank does but opt into it, I chose $500.&amp;nbsp; I get a text message and phone call whenever there is a $500 plus charge.&amp;nbsp; They put a hold on the account until I verify either by text or phone call that the charge is legitimate.&amp;nbsp; I also have this on my bank debit card which has been hacked twice but they didn't get anything.&amp;nbsp; Still.&amp;nbsp; Getting a new card is a pain in the rear.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;HR /&gt;&lt;/BLOCKQUOTE&gt;</description>

Perhaps my thief charges $50 to pay your cable bill.       <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://community.qvc.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/260777"&gt;@PickyPicky3&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp; Contact Spectrum and Comcast - they should have fraud departments and should be able to figure out where the charges came from (and whose account got the amounts credited&amp;nbsp;to their accounts).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;What is strange is that it's two different cable companies and I've never seen them overlap geographic areas.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;My friend has a credit card that she rarely uses and used it once in the last several months at a hotel, and when she checked her card, there were charges for additonal room stays about 400 miles away on the next day.&amp;nbsp; No one touched her card except for the person at the one hotel when she checked in so she is thinking that it was the clerk at the front desk.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Just a word of advice, keep ALL emails, coorespondence regarding these charges, and make notes of who and when you spoke with anyone in regards to this, so it doesn't come back to bite you months later.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Before I buy anything over that amount, I always notify them.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;HR /&gt;&lt;/BLOCKQUOTE&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4"&gt;I have the same with my credit card($500)..I notify them if I'm spending a lot on a certain day.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4"&gt;Years ago I was moving around Christmas time..I&amp;nbsp; called them to tell them that I was on a shopping spree for my moving and Christmas shopping..and to raise it to $2000 for the day.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4"&gt;It was embarrassing but after 3 hrs. of of buying in all kinds of stores..My card was denied at&amp;nbsp; the mattress store.I called the bank..after I gave them some codes they knew it was me and opened it to charge the mattress..I stopped after that! There was a message from the bank on my answering machine to call them ASAP.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
