My Windows Are Open, At For Today.

It is about flippen time. Finally a day in the upper 50s. sunny w/blue sky.

My LR windows are open albiet only a few inches, it is a little chilly and breezy but, holy cow, fresh air. Both cats are taking advantage of this brief intermission before a return to the cold and snow due Friday. Both beasts are lounging on window sills.

Man, Oct., Nov., and Dec. weren't too bad for NE PA but then January and Feb. were brutal.

We are in the home stretch for fully open windows, flowers, leaves on trees and best of all.................no more heating oil deliveries.

It is 60 here,very windy ,got two of my windows open,but we are getting cold tomorrow,and snow on friday.

I'm in southern NY. state and our weather is the same. I did grocery shopping and errands this morning,and it was sunny and warm. Sadly we are expecting a snow storm Thursday night into Friday morning. I finally got rid of the snow and ice, ☹️ , oh well what can you do ?

@CrazyKittyLvr2 My windows are open too! It's warm, not raining, not windy, I love it! However, here where I am the news reports are for cold weather and more snow in the next day or so. Oh well.... I'll enjoy this while it's here.

We had a wind event come through last night. Since it was supposed to be only 30° I cracked my window open as usual. Woke up well before dawn freezing. The 5Omph wind was blowing right in my window and surprise, it was 13°. Boy, did I hustle to get up and turn the heat on! No open windows in the desert Southwest today as it's still blowing.

I'm in MA and it's 67 right now! Also have my windows open too even though it's pretty windy. Love the fresh air. However tonight it's supposed to drop down to 22 and we have a 100% chance of snow on Friday with about 6-8" expected. It's been a crazy February. It went up to the 60s a couple of weeks ago and we got a big snowstorm a couple of days later also.

It's been a crazy February, it's supposed to be the coldest and snowiest month. We have had a lot of snow with more expected Friday. But we also have had a surprising number of record breaking warm days. And today takes the cake, it's 68. And tomorrow it will be back to the 30s followed by a snow storm. I didn't open the windows but I patio door open a bit to let some fresh air in.

I'm in the metro-DC area and right now the temperature is 72! And tomorrow the high is supposed to be 35!!!!!!! It's been yo-yo weather for a couple of weeks now. Looks like that's going to continue. But today is absolutely glorious!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi @lkat I'm in RI and OMG, what a day!! Woohoo, beautiful weather and yes the calm before the "storm". Oh well, that's New England for you, like they say if you don't like the weather just wait a minute!! LOL

I've been cleaning my house today and it's just perfect with the fresh air coming in, nice b quick break from winter weather.

I live in CO and it went from 61 on Sunday to 9 degrees on Tuesday and snow. Today it is 8 degrees and snowing. Can't wait for warmer weather. This week is suppose to be cold. It appears we will get a break by Sunday with 55 degrees.

Regardless of the outside temperature, I open my bathroom window every morning when I take a shower, and leave it open about 20 minutes. I want fresh air in daily.

@RedTop That's why I sleep with the window open at least a crack every single night of the year. I get up about 5am and turn the heat on.

Not here. Later last night the temp started dropping. At midnight it was a -10° windchill. This morning it was a -21°, and has not reached zero all day. Right now it is a -6°. Only opened door to let Lily out.

Today the temperature actually went up to 70 degrees on my sunny porch. It got windy and now it is only 46 degrees. Two

more days and we will be shoveling snow.

On Tuesday, we had temps at 60 degrees for the high so I turned off the heat and opened a couple of windows before I left for work. It felt good to get things aired out. Anytime, the high is supposed to reach a high of 60 in the winter, I will do this.
