That's my question. What celebrities are you tired of hearing about?

I do find Jennifer (Hunger Games) very fresh, funny and real.

Who do you like to read or hear about?

Right now I am reading Matthew McConaughey's book Greenlight.

I find him interesting and nice to look at

I think I'm in the minority here. I am usually clueless when things are posted about people. I've got all I can say grace over just keeping up with myself!

I don't pay much attention to them. I'm exposed to them...

I don't pay much attention to them. I'm exposed to them here on the boards more than anywhere else.....lots of conjecture on their lives here. Done with the Harry and Megan charade and a certain "scientist" who thinks he is a celebrity.

I've enjoyed sharing information/comments on celebrity musicians/often fellow lovers of classic rock...always positive and upbeat.

No to Jennifer & Ben. She seems like a nice woman, but I am not interested in hearing about how amazingly in love she is with Ojani, Diddy, Cris, Mark, Ben, Casper, Drake, Alex or Ben, again.

No to the royals.

No to the Kardashians.

No to anyone that is breaking the internet with their abs or their whatevers. Is that really all that they have to offer.

Yes to BTS.

Yes to Hanson.

Yes to Tom & Zendaya.

I like reading about celebrities occasionally when it something happening, but not when it's how they posed in a bikini.

I take all the stories with a grain of salt.

I really don't care what others do as long as it's not criminal and there is consent.

I have enough to handle looking after my own life and in general, I leave others to do the same whether they're famous or not.

I do want to know how they stay impossibly slim, though.

I hope people realize that "celebrities "(and I use that term loosely) are PAID for every article or post about them. More "drama", more money for them!!

So those with hourly posts about something or who find "romance/true love" (again said loosely) with another celebrity are mostly doing it for the almighty dollar. Most articles are overly dramatic & photoshopped to the hilt, most relationships/marriages are fake to promote a new movie, TV show or other business venture, and most have pumped billions into the plastic surgery world. Why would I waste MY precious time on that??? A very few minority are probably real people and do real nice things, but it's certainly by no means a majority by any stretch of the imagination.

Once upon a time I read lots about Elvis or Doris Day or Grace Kelly. Not much since that time.

I can't help seeing headlines, but the whole stories seldom reel me in and I can't think of a single celebrity-driven contest or game show I like when the contestants are celebrities.

There was a time when I was glued to every outlet (news, TV, magazines, etc.) for my celebrity news that I couldn't live without. Fortunately, I've "finally" matured to the point where I don't really give a rip about them. Same goes for professional sports figures. There are a few that I might perk up if I hear something but that is pretty rare anymore.

What I have learned? Some people follow their ever move, think they can do no wrong, and defend them as if they were family.

Nothing their chosen celebrities do will deter them from seeing perfection in the ones they mindlessly worship from afar. And they often spew venom at others who do not see the same in said celebrity.

I never read celebrity news as I don't find their lives interesting. In fact, I go out of my way to avoid even hearing about them. I think the lives of ordinary people are much more interesting and meaningful.

I'm glad that the op started this post because just the other day a picture was posted of a celebrity, who I wasn't familiar with, holding her baby. In the picture the baby was nude. I know that many will say there was nothing wrong with that but wouldn't it have been a much nicer picture to see that little one in a cute outfit.

As a mother why would you post such a picture? This isn't just a picture that is in your family album. It's on a magazine cover and posted all over the internet.

I know my mother never would have taken a picture of either my brother or myself without any clothes on. She never thought it was cute.

I know times have changed and it seems like anything goes today but still maybe take a moment and think before you do something. With the internet, nothing ever goes away.

I'm sure that many will disagree with me but this is my opinion only and I'm not saying that it's right or wrong. I guess it just depends on how you were brought up.

Ok. I guess it's just me that likes certain celebrities & will read about them or watch an interview that they do.

No, I don't stalk them or believe every article.

Yes, I realize it is a job & they get paid for photos & articles.

No, I am not ignoring my family & friends because I am immersed in my real friends on the internet.

It's just an interest like talking to people I don't know on forums! LOL

The only news about "celebrities" I see is here. The only other time I see anything about a "celebrity" is any blip that might show up on the news.

I do not subscribe to magazines which tend to be just gossipy and usually itching to print some type of "ah-ha" moment or with a not-so-subtle glee at a misfortune that has befallen one of them.

I don't even recognize some names. LOL

eta: I will open a thread here and there if I recognize the name(s) and the topic is not about a divorce or some other nonsense.

I dont pay attention to celebrities AT ALL---too me they are nothing special and are "legends in their own minds"---if some of them do in fact have one)....The only time I hear about them is when the national news broadcasts a story about them before they get to the truly important news happenings!!!!!
