MY WORLD HAS COME CRASHING DOWN

I am asking for everyone to please pray for my husband. IN the past 72 hours our world has come crashing down. He is 57 years old and my best friend my rock..He has worked 28 years in the medical field so last Thursday morning he asked doctor to look at his leg. THe doctor immediately sent him to MRI and CT Scan. A 12 cm tumor was discovered in his right calf. The Doctors at his work immediatley called Emory to set up biopsy and more scans with contrast. When we met with orthopedic/oncologist and he did biopsy he did tell us that it was sarcoma and he was sure it was malignant. Now we are waiting to see if it is anywhere else in body and if tumor is in leg bone. The waiting is killing us. I cant look at him without crying. PLease pray...You dont know me but I ask with my heart.

Are you going for a second opinion? I think that's one of the things I would think to do first.

Praying for you and your husband and his medical team. Waiting for a treatment plan is very hard. I have been there and know the feeling of shock. May God give you peace that passes understanding as you continue this journey.

I know I am not the first person to go through this but see I am disabled and he took care of me. I promised him I would not leave his side. I have waited my whole life for him. He is such a good man. I cry in the shower I cry outside everywhere I look I see him. we just paid off our home and cars so we could enjoy our future. So I need as much prayer as is out there,,His name is John, thank you for bottom of my heart

Rely on your religion and try not to future trip about what could happen. Every day you have together is a gift. Accept what you can't change, now it is your turn to be there for him.

Things like this are always a traumatic shock to the system. You need time to absorb it. Listen to the medical advice you're given. Take notes, if you need to; it can be hard to remember everything, when your mind and heart are in turmoil.

And don't be afraid to ask for more prayers as you go through this. Please let us know how you are both doing. ❤️

Tina, When I first read your post, the old song, " He's got the whole world in his hands" flooded my mind. Your world feels like it is crashing , but, he's got the whole world in his hands. Prayers for you and your husband and for peace and strength .
