It seems time to start a "what hasn't gone up?" disussion. We are sort of overwhelmed with what HAS gone up, so why not?

Right now I'm trying to think of something! LOL!!!???

Bananas at Wegmans are still $0.49 per pound. In fact, most Wegmans produce that I buy hasn't changed.

@teganslaw I think people who have a variable rate mortgage ought to think about some refinancing options.

I am old and remember when mortgages went way over 14%. And houses were a lot cheaper then--even our tiny one we were delighted to get 8%

We refinanced our mortgage two years ago. One of the best decisions we ever made.

I bought a whole pork loin at Wegman's for $1.99 a lb. I was happy about that.

They had oranges for $2.39 each....laughable.

i was at the dollar store yesterday.... got greeting cards for 2 for $1.

Inflation is raging...in order to calm it down soon interest rates will start rising. Perhaps after the five predicted interest rates that are projected to be implemented over the year, we can begin to discuss a cool down of a few products . The policies implemented during the beginning of the year that effected the cost of gas and, unfortunately, puts us in a precarious future with gas prices, I don't predict a return to past prices at this rate for many items. But, I do think next year housing prices will begin to come down due to the policies that will have to be implemented to stop inflation.

I observe and reflect on the current situation, but I don't live in fear. I do look forward to housing prices coming down in the future.

@Sooner That is where we are headed on interest rates, hope everyone jumped on the bandwagon when they could.

The Dollar Tree stores in my area haven't raised their prices. And a brand of lotion that I buy is still the same price it was six months ago.
