Glad I Checked My Order Status

On January 5 I ordered Egg Harbour Colossal Shrimp with an estimated delivery of January 13. The status has been "in process" ever since. That's no problem for me - whenever they get here is ok. So I checked this morning, still in process. I checked a half hour ago and it shipped today. I clicked on tracking and it said delivered! Sure enough the package is on my porch. If I hadn't checked the status again today those shrimps would be outside till I picked up the newspaper tomorrow morning.

We use our basement door every day since we park in back but we always check the front door. You're lucky!

That's more common than uncommon. I've had dozens of holiday gift deliveries arrive un-announced at 9:00 PM or later. I would - and still do -- check the front porch when double checking the door locks for the night.

Found one of my $300 vac cleaners purchases laid across porch floor at bedtime. It was heavy heavy and I didn't appreciate the workout at that hour. Inside and safe. QVC often doesn't notify shipments when shipped...... from vendor b/c they don't know either.

this time of the year in our area it would be fine to leave out food products even for a day or so........brrrrrrrrrr......it has been quite cold and windy.
