Mr 4kitties and I were just admiring the moon. And we had a beautiful, vibrant reddish pink sunset too. My phone just does not seem to pick up the vibrant colors so I did not take a picture.

@godi Thank you for the pics. I love crescent moons, well looking at all phases of the moon if I am really accurate. Your photos are so amazing and touching. We go up to our pasture where there it's really dark just to look at the sky.

My mom used to tell me 'the moon has a penny in it' when she'd see a crescent moon.
