Windshield Frostguard

I had been wanting to get a Frost Guard since I don't have a garage any more but the reviews are not great and I hesitated to order one. I got one (same manufacturer) at Walmart for under $10. I used it over the weekend since we got some freezing rain and snow and I am very impressed. It worked perfectly. You close the doors on the tabs and it stayed in place just fine.

I love mine. I have one for the front which included side covers for mirrors and one for the back window. It saves time from.scraping the snow and ice from the windows.

Have had a garage in every home my mother and I have owned. When living for 7 years in an apartment complex, I rented 2-detached garages. But! When working and parking in a square mile open, on a hill, parking lot for close to 10 hours a day, for 33 years?

I retired 30 years ago on November 10, 1991, and there was nothing around like these things. Thus it was: "Get to the car/turn on the defrost/get out the brush push inches of snow". Then, out comes the ice scrapper! My vehicle would not move until I had clear, full vision, out of every window and mirror on that vehicle.

The positive side of that? With over 3,000 workers getting off at the same time, by the time I was ready to drop 'er in gear! Much less traffic to worry about, some dashing while looking through a peephole the size of a small apple, to wherever the were going. Oft times wondered if they got their with their vehicle and body intact.
