Celebrities Children

I know celebrities derserve their privacy especially when it comes to their children, but this is a pet peeve of mine. I don't want to see a picture of your newborn's foot, hand, or the back of their head. You don't want to share a photo of your child then don't. Jessica Biel posted a picture of herself, Justin Timberlake, and their two boys, the picture is so far away ( I wouldn't even know it was them), and it's the back view.

I don't think it's done for privacy. The photographer is trying to get the most artistic shot.

Maybe they want to post family pics but don't want their children to be recognized. Can't blame them.
There are sick, sick people in this world. All you have to do is listen to some phone calls recently made public to give you an idea of the degenerates walking among us.

I agree with all of you. It's not like we care one way or another who's having a baby.

I think it shows how they are full of themselves.

Most people would be perfectly happy not knowing or caring who had a baby.

People have been having babies since the beginning of time. Save the announcements for friends and family who cares about the birth of a child.

Speaking for myself, I'm only interested if it's a friend and/or a family member.

@JamandBread Yes. It's pointless and a little rude to your fans and supporters if you don't. And celebrities aren't sharing joy, they are putting out photo ops and pub photos. And all the while whining about privacy. . .

It's difficult to have your cake and eat it too.

It's for the benefit of the celebrity only, it's a "teaser" to keep their name out there, they must keep tongues wagging about them, Ka-ching.

Their huge egos have to be fed.

And here I thought celebrities were just like the rest of us human beings. Proud of their families and wanting to share that joy with friends, which includes their followers and fan base, in a way that keeps kids safe.

Wasn't aware the public was entitled to detailed photographs of their children and if they can't have that, well there should be no pictures at all.

Glad I can come here to learn how the world works.

I guess what is the issue with this photograph when there are numerous photos of the children on the internet- full face, up close etc. The mother isn't allowed to post what she wants? It's a picture not a portrait.

And when they do post full photos then they are called egomaniacs!! They cannot win!!! If no pics are posted then the trouble in paradise stories are rampant!! Who really cares about pictures of anyone's families except those pics of families and friends you actually have a personal relationship with and even then...

No one is entitled to pictures of anyone else's children. It is also a serious security issue.

Doesn't bother me at all if they post a foot or the back of a head or whatever.

That's right! They want privacy, but they want us to see their family. It does not make sense. Think about it.....

@JamandBreadThat is an interesting notion. I am a fan of some Celebrities and yet I would NEVER have thought they consider me a friend of theirs. Nor, in fact, do I consider them friends of mine.

@decaf I agree! It is all about them and the egos they need stroked. I have no interest in seeing a kids foot, or the back of their head.
