I don't generally visit this board but am really hoping that someone will have some thoughts here. My 8 year old cat has developed some moderate hair loss - but only on her ears...not total hair loss but a general thinning that has become quite significant. She also seems to scratch at her ears quite often too. I've taken her to the vet and they did a blood test but it came back negative for any issues that he suspected.

After some digging around on the web, I've seen that food allergies can manifest in odd symptoms such as this. So...I've changed her food to a high quality organic/grain free formula from Canada. She's been on this food for about a month now - but I'm not seeing any improvement. Perhaps, it is just too soon...

THANKS in advance for any thoughts / suggestions...
