      <title>Grrrr … “A” purchase poor delivery</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4"&gt;I ordered several items as gifts had them delivered to recipient.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4"&gt;I've always had good experience with "A"( not sure if I can say name here) anyway they delivered packages &lt;STRONG&gt;but &lt;/STRONG&gt;driver left on porch in pouring rain &amp;amp; I did &lt;STRONG&gt;not &lt;/STRONG&gt;get a text/email they were delivered. &amp;nbsp;If so, I would have contacted her &amp;amp; told her.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4"&gt;Anyway, the boxes &amp;amp; contents were outside overnight and were soaked to the point water was dripping out. &amp;nbsp;Contents were coloring books, stickers, markers, clothing and a easel set. &amp;nbsp;(Were in 2 separate boxes).&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4"&gt;I tried to do &lt;STRONG&gt;replacement request&lt;/STRONG&gt;&amp;nbsp;and was denied. &amp;nbsp;Stated was "3rd party seller" but clearly states on site --"sold by Amazon.com".&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4"&gt;I looked for a phone # for CS - this is unacceptable. &amp;nbsp;These items totalled over $100. &amp;nbsp;Does anyone have direct # for "A" or email info --&amp;nbsp;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4"&gt;(I looked at the order &amp;amp; the delivery info states "gave to recipient" -- not true🤬).&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4"&gt;thank you!&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4"&gt;homedecor1&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;You can send a message to the seller and let him know what happened. I always know when packages are to be delivered because it gives you a date if you check it everyday. Then I go to my order and see if it has been delivered. I had a package that said it was delivered but it was to the wrong address. Sent message to seller and he gave me a credit. I find you need to follow their procedures or it doesn't work.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;I do not think that one can rely on past experiences to compare to what is happening this year.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;There are always many new and substitute drivers during the holidays, and I think this year is worse than ever.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;I have had packages arrive at 10:00 PM at night (no notice), and 7:45 AM on a Sunday morning.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;I monitor my tracking constantly to try to get a ballpark date/time of arrival, but it is still not always accurate.&amp;nbsp; Sometimes items might get lost and then delivered days after their original due date.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;Unfortunately, the seller has no control over delivery processes, and small dealers can probably not afford to replace items.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;Perhaps you can just consider that gift a loss, and have the recipients donate the items to a charity.&amp;nbsp; Maybe a last minute e-gift card will provide a good option for the children, and they can pick out their own art supplies at a local craft store.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://community.qvc.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/34841"&gt;@homedecor1&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp; Yes, I've had something like that in the past.&amp;nbsp; I'm trying to think how I eventually found my way to a customer service person.&amp;nbsp; Can you find a way to chat with an actual person?&amp;nbsp; I know it t can be very difficult to find the way through the maze there in my experience.&amp;nbsp; So I think if not directly through your order history, there should be some sort of customer service area and that might lead you to answer faq type questions or a robotic chat and at some point I think it asks if you need more help or want customer service to call you.&amp;nbsp; I may not be explaining it well because I don't remember all the steps I've needed to take to get actually talking to someone.&amp;nbsp; But you have a phone number now, so hope that is what will solve this for you.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Fingers crossed you get through and the replacement items are delivered by Christmas!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Just as a general comment, I'm finding more and more that packages are being left in a way that is just maybe a few steps from being in a protected area and instead left just out there to weather the elements.&amp;nbsp; I know they are really busy,so it's hard to criticize, however,&amp;nbsp; just a little farther mostly would protect the packages!&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Strange that the packages in the photo (and the front steps) look completely dry.&amp;nbsp; Was that the photo taken by the Amazon driver?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I take it the recipient didn't know that you were having a package(s) sent to her address?&amp;nbsp; (Just wondering how they stayed outside all night long and weren't grabbed by porch pirates.)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Sometimes Amazon's policies can be a bit confusing.&amp;nbsp; I've had an issue where something was sent by Amazon Prime, but I then had to deal with the third-party seller, when it arrived damaged.&amp;nbsp; They should be much clearer about it.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;We are retired and home most of the time. &amp;nbsp;Good thing, as we don’t have a protected area outside our home to leave packages under. &amp;nbsp;They are left either at our front door or close to our garage doors. &amp;nbsp;Good thing, as there is no protective covering over cardboard, even on the worst days.&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Porch pirates? &amp;nbsp;I may be tempting the universe, but we have never had a problem despite a huge amount of deliveries. &amp;nbsp;We live a good distance from the road, with some trees by the road. &amp;nbsp;And our garage doors face sideways to the road,.&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;We sometimes have an email sent to us with the picture of the package on it. &amp;nbsp;Of course, if it is an off-hour delivery, it can be many hours before you see the email.&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;You are due a complete replacement for the packages that were ruined by the weather, &amp;nbsp;I don’t think you should have a problem with that. &amp;nbsp;I am sorry this happened to you.&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I track my packages and pops up on my phone.&amp;nbsp; I don't use Amazon so no experience with them but my daughter uses.&amp;nbsp; They put on her front porch and no protection so if it would rain they would get wet.&amp;nbsp; Not sure how you can hold them responsible.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I do most of my shopping locally or with QVC.&amp;nbsp; Don't care for third-party shopping or hassle returns.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;This time of year people need to pay attention if things are on there way.&amp;nbsp; I always let the recipient know a gift is on its way.&amp;nbsp; I'm lucky and my dog always hears anyone on the porch no matter how quiet they try to be.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;I sympathize with you but it's a risk anyone takes when packages are delivered. It's not the seller's fault.&amp;nbsp;You might file a claim with the company that delivered it but I doubt they will do anything since it's not really their issue either. It's Mother Nature.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;I bought two pairs of clippers for a barber friend and he only received one. Called Amazon and they sent an email to the seller and told me to give them a few days to respond.&amp;nbsp; The Seller didn't and I was refunded for the two clippers. I told the Rep that it should only be for one, but he said that's it's ok so I accepted it.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;&lt;a href="https://community.qvc.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/34841"&gt;@homedecor1&lt;/a&gt;, I would call and I hope that by now it's been solved.       <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;Yes they did not know and I did not get message or text. &amp;nbsp;Also, for these particular items Amazon sent me email they'd be delayed until approximately 12/15, therefore, I didn't track them.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;My direction was to deliver to &lt;STRONG&gt;side porch &lt;/STRONG&gt;-- which is covered.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;I told her the day they'd be delivered based on email. &amp;nbsp;They came earlier-- so they'd been out there a few days🤦‍♀️ &amp;amp; &amp;nbsp;they never use front door area.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;As for "porch pirates" it's a long walk to get from street to their home. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;-- so those "porch pirates" would have to be in "good shape" lol. &amp;nbsp;Not easy to see from street.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;With all the delivery problems and temp drivers I can't be to particular I'd just like items be replaced.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

However, my delivery instructions with Amazon spell out specifically where to leave our items, which is on a porch with no overhead covering.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="5" color="#000000"&gt;We are not always home when they are delivered. If it is raining, or expecting rain, our delivery person puts a plastic bag over any item that is in a cardboard box. The others in the waterproof envelopes, no need.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="5" color="#000000"&gt;I have called their Customer Service several times because it is much easier talking than typing to make sure we are "on the same page". Never had this happen, but if I did? I would call them, and also expect a replacement.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="5" color="#000000"&gt;Everyone does not have a covered area in which to leave deliveries. And in parts of the&amp;nbsp;country that have 4 seasons, even snow can conceal a delivery. And when snow melts?&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="5" color="#000000"&gt;hckynut&amp;nbsp;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
