I just saw this on the We Love QVC Facebook page. "Huge fire" at their Rocky Mount Distribution center. The poster posted a screenshot from her local news and said no reports of injuries.

ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. (WITN) - Rocky Mount Area Chamber of Commerce confirms a fire at the QVC Distribution Center in Rocky Mount.

“We don’t know all the details, but do know that up to 2500 families will be affected by this tragedy,” they wrote in a Facebook post Saturday morning. “Our thoughts and prayers are with the employees of QVC and our brave first responders.”

The QVC Distribution Center located on QVC Boulevard, off Highway 64 in Rocky Mount.

Many WITN viewers have notified the station of the flames they see or posted photos and videos of the fire on social media, but officials have not yet released details or reported any injuries.

I agree, neither employees nor first responders were injured according to the reports so far, that's what's most important!

QVC has insurance for the contents and the building.

It's good to hear that no one was injured.

But I sure am glad I don't have any outstanding orders with QVC right now.

I am so glad no one was hurt. How sad with these tragedies. I see that ShopHQ's warehouse in Bowling Green KY was hit by the tornadoes.

Happy to hear no one was hurt, but this will be a huge setback for QVC.

Most of my orders come from Rocky Mount. Think of all the products destroyed by fire, smoke, and water to put the fire out that won't be available to send to customers. All those employees out of work.

A fire this big looks suspicious to me.

Wow. Fire is sheer force when there is tinder.

To say this is upsetting minimizes it, but wow. How terrifying for those there, and even the thought that it could happen again in that setting.

That's just horrible, all those employees out of work for who knows how long.

With 3/4 of it gone and water/smoke damage, they'll probably have to just raze the building entirely.

So much for their 'happy holidays', but thank God they're safe.

Trying to absorb this shocking news. My heart goes out to all who were affected. I am grateful no one was injured. It seems that place would have been operating fully staffed this close to Christmas. That everyone was able to get out safely is amazing.

Geez how awful! So many will be out of work now. I feel so bad for those folks that depend on their paychecks. Just terrible!
