Fun Holiday - Make a Gift...

The unofficial holiday is annually celebrated Dec. 3.

It encourages people to lovingly hand craft gifts.

Handmade gifts are a way to show love and concern for the recipient(s).

Do you make something special to give?

I, myself,make small green yarn wreath pins with red yarn bow..to give to others.

( Not real handy...but..as my Mom would say "it's the thought that counts"! 🤗

One year2 of my co-workers and I decided to make each other gifts. Sadly I do not possess the craft gene, LOL. My 2 friends made lovely ornaments, and I was stuck for ideas. Anyway I fell back on my one talent, baking, and one year each one got a big tin of cookies, but my big success was pizza cookies. They were sugar cookie dough pressed in pizza pans topped with chocolate chips , marshmallows, and peanuts, Rocky Road. For some reason they were a hit, and .I didn't feel so bad about my lack of craft talent.

I don't think I've ever heard this. hmm - will have to think about what I could do.

@QVCkitty1 Hey, baking is what I do too! I usually make mini loaf pans of zucchini bread with chocolate chips, but this year I'm making biscotti with mini chocolate chips and dried cherries. They stay fresh a long time! I agree with @NEvans2. Baking is an art.
