These are great quality and all the ones I've purchased came with a case, so I like that.

Rubis tweezers are excellent. I especially like the angled/slanted ones. They are pin-point accurate.

Regine. They are made in Switzerland and I purchase them on Amazon. I used to buy Tweezerman but their slanted tip tweezers seemed to be less sharp than when I ordered them throughout the many years I purchased them.

Another vote for Regine. I purchased them just once on HSN years ago, and they are still great. I tried them because the quality of Tweezerman is not the same as it was. HSN is selling them for $19.99, which is less than what I paid.

Just a tip..... take a disposable nail file and put it between the two little plates that grab the hair and give the two sides a file. It will unclog those areas if you've had hair or skin stick to them. It also sharpens the two areas a bit and makes the tweezers more like they were when new.

I've done this for years and it's kept the instrument in good shape....

I agree @mom2four0418 about Tweezerman. After returning 3 pair to Sally's Beauty because they just wouldn't grab, I tried the Regine from HSN. I am happy with them and have had them for a few years. I looked on HSN and am thinking about picking up a spare.

I have a pair of slant Tweezerman that I bought decades ago and they're still excellent. They used to provide free re-sharpening, but I've never needed it.

Having said that, that pair was made in the U.S.. I bought another pair after they moved manufacture to China and they are all but useless. I keep them for little chores that need tweezers, but nothing else. They barely grip anything, let alone eyebrow hairs!

If anything happens to my original pair, I'll look for a different brand.

Thanks everyone, I've bought Tweezerman, have 2 or 3 pair and use their free sharpening service. When these no longer do the job, I'll try Regine. Does anyone know where they're made? I don't see that listed on HSN, also no reviews at all. They're sold this brand for years, that's not right.

Don't know what style you like, but I use the pointed style and have found brands at CVS/Walgreens have not been that good. On Amazon, I ordered at set of 4, all different tips, including the pointed ones I like called Terresa. Think I paid around $15 or so for them and just love them. They are straight across, slanted, more slanted that 2nd pr. and the pointed pair. Only use that one but well worth the money.

Years ago someone on this board recommended tweezers made in Switzerland. Since Tweezerman just didn't seem to be as good as it once was, I spent the money for a really pointy one and a slant one.

Wow,what a difference they made on ingrown eyebrow hairs. Can't read any brand name so I don't know if they are Regine or not. Swiss-made is the best nowadays.

I love my Tweezerman tweezers. I bought two different slant-tip ones in bright colors ( lime green and neon orange) so I can always find them in my makeup kit. If you don't think they aren't as sharp as they once were, just run them over an emory board a couple of times.
