Your Experience With Target Red Card?

I do shop Target from time to time. Usually just grocery items or household/laundry cleaning and beauty products.

If you have a Target Red Card, either debit or credit is it worth it?

I avoided applying after their major hack a few years ago but with soaring prices, 5% off orders is looking pretty good.

I've had the Target red card for years. However, I haven't been in a Target store since the pandemic began. I never had any problem with the card.

@Krimpette I've only done Target Run since Covid so I don't shop inside, either.

I've been thinking the same thing. I do make runs to Target and just learned how to do the circle offers. Not sure I want a second credit card but the discount is tempting me too.

@Laura14 I have not figured out how to do the Circle Offers yet. Plan to because there are some good savings.

I use the Target Red Card all the time. I would recommend this card. I buy all the time and get free shipping plus 5% off. I ordered a product two days ago and it is being delivered today. Target is a great company. If you buy something at their store and find a lower price at their store, they will match the price until 12/24.

If you are a Military family, they are giving an extra 10% off two items until 11/13. They have daily target deals. Sometimes they offer additional discounts on some items plus your 5%. This company is a win win.

Also, if you shop online, Befrugal offers 1% cashback.

@elated I wasn't aware the price matched but comparing their everyday prices they are usually within pennies of WM and sometimes better.

@panda1234 It's really easy. Download the Target app and you just click the offers you want. At check out, open the app and Scan the bar code in the wallet section and it discounts all the items that match your offers. I got a $15 off coupon a few weeks ago. Stole a pair of boots for $15.

Right now they have 20% off apparel so I am off to Target tomorrow to take advantage plus the buy two get one free book sale.

I got mine years ago right before the big data breach. I still use mine and have never had a problem. I don't shop at Target that often, but when I do, I use it.

I have one and have never had problems with it. I, too, like that I get 5% off when I shop at Target and also free shipping.

I love the Target red card mainly because shipping is always free and you get the extra 5% off anything. Plus returns are so simple, you don't even need to present your card they will just credit it back for you. That is, if your in the store, I've never sent anything back by mail so I don't know how that works. I've never had any problems using the card.

Sometimes there is a $5 gift card with a $25 Purina purchase along with the 5% off at checkout. I order Tidy Cat litter, a Purina product, get the gift card, the 5% off and delivered to my door free. Of course the Red Card is worth it.

Yes, I occasionally use my red card. They will send you a letter if you don't use it and threaten cancellation. I went there once during the height of Covid just as the store opened and bought some toiletries just to keep the card active.

@Laura14 I love when they have the Buy 2 Get 1 Free Book/Movie/Music sales!

And, a cashier there told me to always check their online price for books before I check out, because they are sometimes cheaper online then in store & they will then match their own online price.

I also like that I can open the app & scan anything I am looking at in the store & it will tell me if there are any promotions going on for that product.

I use the Target Red Debit Card when I shop there, I believe you get a percentage off the entire order and it tracks your receipts as well?
