I'm just not into all the "gore" that seems to be pervasive in everything related to halloween decors, etc. Things were so much simpler, back in my day! (I'm very old! ;-))

The cupcakes don't bother me, but the spider does.

For a ghoulish Halloween party, I think the cupcakes are kind of clever. It's clear the red syrup doesn't look anything like blood.

I suppose the clear things are supposed to be pieces of broken glass. I wonder what they are made of? Something like the brittle in peanut brittle except it's clear...sugar and light corn syrup, maybe?

These are fine for grownups and older teens. I don't think they are suitable for young children. They look like the sugar shards are sharp, too. If they are sharp edged, then I don't think they are suitable for anyone.

I do not celebrate Halloween. However those cupcakses look as though they have mixed some nice flavors , chocolate , ? raspberry or cherry and homemade sugar candy !
