@MamaWick These photos are adorable. I too would love a picture of these beauties in my home. Thank You for all the enjoyment you are sending us. By the way do you feed them strictly carrots? I know they love them. They love to get into cornfields around here

@Leeny Carrots, apples, bananas, oranges, watermelon/rinds, and deer nutrition pellets. Carrots are the least expensive. The nutrition is a 50 pound bag that i give them about once a week (a bag lasts about a month). Never, ever corn.

The closeup photo of the buck with the tall wild grass scenery is a gem of nature! It looks like the forest friends are posing for their photo ops! It is delightful, sweet and welcome to view the photos and see nature's children at their safe haven! It's another sunny tranquil time at the Wick's, a breath of fresh air!

@KatieB. Although they love corn, it is very bad for their digestive tract. Google "can deer eat corn" for more info. Even "deer corn" is horrible.

@MamaWick Those Deer are very lucky with all these good foods you have listed. With a lot of field corn grown around here for farm animals the deer go in and help themselves before the corn gets picked. Like I said before they like to go into my DD's back yard at night and pick apples off the trees to eat. I can see why your deer like to come to your yard and visit, they get fed a grand buffet

@MamaWick Corn may not be good for them, but that doesn't stop them from jumping fences to get at it. There are so many deer in our area you can't prevent it. I know the farmer's aren't thrilled with it, but you can't keep them out.

@Leeny Like I said...they love corn. Unfortunately they don't know it is so bad for them, but I do, so they will never get corn from me 🙂
