Those pieces of toast are pretty pathetic.

I've never eaten anything close to what you have shown here.

They would never see a knife and probably be tossed and I don't cut my bread.

I don't cut my toast. The closest to cutting is when I use my fork to break off a piece to sop up egg yolk.

The toast may have been grilled under the oven broiler which is my favorite way.
