    <description>&lt;P&gt;I do my fair share of shopping with Amazon.&amp;nbsp; However, sometimes, not all the time, returns are a hassle.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have made a couple of returns in the past and the only way it was free for me to return the item was for me to go inside Kohls with the return.&amp;nbsp; I would have been charged for all other return methods offered.&amp;nbsp; Going into Kohls isn't convenient for me.&amp;nbsp; It is convenient to drop my package in a UPS drop box.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I'm sure this is a partnership between Kohls and Amazon to increase foot traffic in Kohls and get more sales.&amp;nbsp; Plus I was given $5.00 Kohls cash when I dropped off the return.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>Another Amazon WOW</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;For the first time I can remember I had to return something to Amazon.&amp;nbsp; Logged onto the website and arranged for a return.&amp;nbsp; Was able to drop it off at our local Whole Foods.&amp;nbsp; That was yesterday.&amp;nbsp; Today I have my credit.&amp;nbsp; Obviously, they know the item is being returned but they don't wait to actually receive the item to reimburse the customer.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;QVC are you listening????&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I was told to just keep a book I had ordered for granddaughter and they gave me a credit for it.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I wanted to exchange for another title and Amazon just sent the new title for free.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have had that happen another time, too.&amp;nbsp; I ended up with a double order because my package was left somewhere else; I saw it had been delivered but it was not my door in the pic.&amp;nbsp; They sent out another package for the next day free of charge and in the meantime the neighbor dropped off the first one.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I contacted Amazon and I was not charged for either one.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;QVC does this too, but a little differently. &amp;nbsp;You must send an email with the item information to QVC Easy Returns. &amp;nbsp;As soon as they receive your email, your item is immediately refunded. &amp;nbsp;I have returned a few this way and was credited on the very same day. Very easy. &amp;nbsp;Thanks QVC!&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I received a broken picture frame; it was clear that the package had been damaged before opening. I filled out the return slip online, UPS picked it up within a couple days, and I got a replacement coming within another couple of days. No questions asked at all, easy peasy.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Even before Amazon had drop off centers, and used the USPS for returns, your account was often refunded before you even got home from dropping off your return.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;QVC has the ability to do this too even if they aren't as big as Amazon, I would think.&amp;nbsp; It's just a matter of scanning and tracking.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I'm not sure why it takes them sooooooo long to credit a return.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://community.qvc.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/16718"&gt;@Bhvbum&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I disagree that QVC is the largest retailer, but I guess it&amp;nbsp; depends on how you look at the numbers, Amazon would be considered the largest by far over QVC.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The previous poster's numbers regarding revenue for Amz and Q are as publicly listed.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Amz has BILLIONS more in sales and revenue than QVC.&amp;nbsp; However, Amazon sells services as well, QVC doesn't really...no Alexa, streaming, Prime, etc.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Amazon allows private sellers similar to Ebay and now Walmart is doing it.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;JP Morgan analysts say the following:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;DIV class="RenderKeyPoints-list"&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&lt;DIV class="group"&gt;&lt;UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Amazon is on track to surpass Walmart as the largest U.S. retailer by 2022, JPMorgan analysts wrote in a note published Friday.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Amazon’s U.S. retail business is the “fastest growing at scale,” the analysts wrote.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;My company sells things on Amazon, and as such, I can tell you that customers do take advantage of the generous Amazon policies.&amp;nbsp; I should not get into too much detail.&amp;nbsp; But we have had buyers take certain items (the valuable parts) of products and return the rest to Amazon as defective.&amp;nbsp; Then we are docked the full price and left with something we cannot use or sell.&amp;nbsp; We do have the option, and have done so, of reporting these buyers to Amazon.&amp;nbsp; Not sure if that does any good or not.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If customers take advantage of their policies - like not returning what they said was returned, or only part of it, then I think something may change down the road.&amp;nbsp; Unfortunately there are many dishonest people out there.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I think it was LLBean that had a lifetime return policy.&amp;nbsp; But they had to stop that.&amp;nbsp; Apparently people were buying things at garage sales and then returning stuff to LLBean for credit.&amp;nbsp; Or they were wearing things for years and years and then expected LLBean to give them a credit when they returned it, all worn and used up.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If people can find a way to game the system and get away with something for profit, they will.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I do my fair share of shopping with Amazon.&amp;nbsp; However, sometimes, not all the time, returns are a hassle.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have made a couple of returns in the past and the only way it was free for me to return the item was for me to go inside Kohls with the return.&amp;nbsp; I would have been charged for all other return methods offered.&amp;nbsp; Going into Kohls isn't convenient for me.&amp;nbsp; It is convenient to drop my package in a UPS drop box.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I'm sure this is a partnership between Kohls and Amazon to increase foot traffic in Kohls and get more sales.&amp;nbsp; Plus I was given $5.00 Kohls cash when I dropped off the return.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
