@Kachina624 You are right but I heard a bit of her yesterday on You Tube channel. It isn't good. I believe her. I have a group on Face Book and I am seeing it first hand. Can't get in to much detail here.

i run two large groups, have a business page, personal page.

everyone can make their own decision about using it or not using it.

i will be surprised if any of this changes anyones mind one way or another......

I personally really hate FB. I, however, can't say that I think her "whistle-blowing" is a good idea - at all. It sets a very bad precedent and is, from what I can tell, a real mis-use of whistle-blower laws. Companies should have the right to conduct any kind of internal study that they want---and keep the results "internal" to the company - if they want to. Period. It's definitely not OK for employees (or ex-employees) to break their confidentiality agreements and share internal knowledge or internal communications with others--much less the public at large. Very bad precedent is being set.

Which has resulted in injuries and even deaths. Car companies, drug companies, chemical companies, power companies and many consumer product manufacturers are among the entities that have and continue to do exactly that.

an "O" operative. Now both him and Zuck are good friends and

are motivated the same.

She pulled all those documents from the Company and I just read that it was someone at FB that actually brought down all those sites yesterday....still not sure the motivation behind it yet.

Without it I would not get to see my kids and grandkids, even great- grandkids in Az. or my nieces and nephews all over the USA or my old kinderguarten,elementry and high.school friends, I have not seen in years

But I have NEVER FACEBOOKED QVC.....lol I come HERE to talk to QVC'rs <3

Noone makes anyone get involved in any groups or conversations they dislike

I belong to a heart failure group,that helps me a lot. Also a group of animal lovers, a birding group,Lots of good stuff on FB <3

I never see bad stuff on FB, cause I have no intrest in going where it is !!!

There’s a lot of info out there if you look regarding how the algorithms used by social media such as FB (but not exclusively FB) encourages conflict and division because the more controversial the post, the more views and clicks and comments - and that is what drives revenue. It’s a form of manipulation and I’m seriously re-evaluating my usage. The problem is the damage done to the positive aspects such as support groups and charities that need these outlets. FB was designed on the premise that it was a safe space for friends and family to gather. That disappeared years ago.

I can attest to that!

I had a minor car accident where the airbag shattered my left arm in several places and I had non-unions of the bones in my radius and ulna, with titanium plates and screws to hold it together.

After multiple surgeries and bone grafts, I still have a titanium plate holding bones together (24 years later).

I sued Chrysler and when we subpoenaed their records of tests, etc., their tests showed that the airbag would go off at 9MPH instead of the 20MPH the car maker and airbag maker claimed.

I won the lawsuit.....big.

I got off facebook during the 2016 election. I just can't take all the snarky insults and these are supposed to be friends.

I like the boards here and there is anothe forum I read... but social media isn't worth the trouble IMO.
