My home was robbed recently.

OK, so I mainly am unknown, but I've lurked in the shadows of these forums for a while. I guess I find it a way to spend some time, just viewing posts and getting to know you through your likes or dislikes. So here goes, since there is so little time left to post to people.

My home was robbed, on Friday, I was only gone for a few hours, and I haven't cried yet, but after reading today that these forums are shutting down also, I'm totally at loss. I feel as if I have been robbed again. This time of comforting routines of checking in to the forums.

My Ipad(s) were taken I've placed them on lost mode and locked, it's been interesting to watch where they go. I have had two alerts at two different locations within 40 miles, yesterday was in a town close to me. Of course, I called the sheriff's department, and they called back later to say they asked if they could search the location, and were denied. I understand their position. At least I hope the theives are annoyed whenever they try to power on the Ipad and find a message on the screen that says this IPAD is stolen, please call the sheriffs office (& phone number). I also had my passport taken, I'm now trying to get an appointment to report it stolen and to replace it. Such a mess. And most of the other items taken were costume jewelry along with my jewelry cabinet - large, and my billfold collections. I'm guessing females?

Anyway, it's nothing to do with QVC in particular, but everything to do with my sense of once being (perhaps on the outside looking in) part of a group of people. I will miss the posts.

Oh and please, I think it's Pooky, bless your wife and hope that her surgery will be successful and stressless. I will pray for her. Goodbye.

I agree about the QVC boards here. It has basically been my family for 20 years.

Sorry, but the fun continues just now- one of the items stolen in the robbery on Friday was my prescription pills for blood pressure - I went to grab it the next day, and it's gone! (Yes I also reported that to the sheriff). So I called the pharmacy, explained the situtation, there wasn't a refill on it, but they eventually managed to get me 3 days of pills until they could talk with the doctor. I just now got a phone message, they are out of stock? If I need them in an emergency, call them? (if they are out, what will that do?) I had a feeling, so I only took 1/2 dosage on Sat & Sun, and will also today, but ???. This is one that has a warning to not discontinue cold turkey, the doctor needs to taper you off. PS, I feel better physically today than I have felt in months? I will discuss this with my doctor soon.

I am so sorry that this happened to you. I have never been robbed but I would feel so violated and angered.

I hope that you get your meds situation worked out soon.

You should have called your doctor over the weekend to get a new prescription called in. It is dangerous not to take care of this ASAP.

Omg. I'm so sorry to here what your going thru. Sending prayers and well wishes for you to get thru what your going through. And thank you for your prayers for my wife's surgery that's now I week from today.
