THINGS YOU CAN DO WITH DRYER SHEETS

Dryer sheets aren't just for your clothes dryer,

the following are other things they are useful for:

1. Use them dry to dust with.

2. Clean your car windshield.

3. Knife and scissors sharpener.

4. Computer and TV screens - clean and scratch

free.

5. Remove pet hair from clothes and furniture.

6. Place a dryer sheet in the AC vent or

heating vents for a fresh air scent.

7. Place 2 sheets in the toilet - let sit for awhile -

remove and scrub for a pristine bowl.

8. Stuff a sheet inside of shoes for a fresh

smell.

9. Remove burned food from pots.

10. Rub dryer sheet over your brush for silky

smooth results.

11. Clean the lint drawer in your dryer.

12. Clean your shower - use moist dryer sheet and

watch soap scum melt away.

13. Tuck dryer sheets under front seats of a car

for a divine smell.

14. Rub the fur on stuffed animals to wipe away

dust and/or dirt.

15. When walking near plants and bushes, tuck a

dryer sheet in your belt - mosquitoes hate

the scent.

@Lindsays Grandma. Thanks for sharing. I'll add 1 more. If you have athletes, put a new dryer sheet into the bottom of their sports bags every week.

Rub it against your clothes to remove static and also if you wear pantyhose, it works also.

Put a dryer sheet inside your suitcases after unpacking keeps it fresh smelling between usage.

Tuck a couple safely in corners your car engine under the hood to deter mice. The odor is objectionable to them. They can chew wires and make nests. Be sure to replace when they no longer smell.

I use them, heavily scented ones, about every 6 feet in my shed where walls meet floor to deter mice. I put fresh ones down every couple of weeks. Still find a mouse in one of the traps every now and again but nothing like prior to the dryer sheets.

Is this for real .Do dryer sheets actually work as described in your list ?

I put some in my mail box because of spiders and put some in my pocket and hat to ward off flying bugs .

My adult son occasionally will put dryer sheets in his sneakers to cut down on stink.. Can't tell you if it works or not, but he says it does.

I put the used sheets in my trash baskets , there is plenty of smell left and keeps the trash from smelling bad , also toss the used ones into my front loader washer , helps keep the funky washer smell away .

Make sure to post a LARGE note alerting family members to NOT flush the toilet with the dryer sheets soaking in the bowl.

@skatting44 ...I haven't tried any of them yet. It came in the mail a day before I posted it. If 100% of them don't work, I am sure many of them do. Did I read your post right, did the flying bugs surround you as well as the mail box? I'd be curious to know, and by the way, this is for real and it is not my list, I had nothing to do with it. As I mentioned, my sister sent it to me.

Is the driver sheet to wipe out the dryer lint screen after each load. The lint will stick to the sheet and then you can throw the whole thing away.

The dryer sheets didn't work for me for mosquitos. Actually, it didn't work for any of us who tried them at a cookout.

I cannot imagine rubbing a dryer sheet on my car windows to clean them. It seems like the chemicals in the sheet would smear up the window, not clean it.

What's the point of putting dryer sheets in the bowl and risk having someone flush them? You still have to scrub it anyway. Seems like a waste of dryer sheets...

You should never clog up your ac or heat vents with anything- much less with a fabric sheet coated in chemicals. Toxic and a fire hazard.
