Poll- Will i receive a jacket from QVC in 10 days?

Tomorrow is Sept 1st. I am going to a wedding on Sept 11. I want to order a jacket from QVC to go with a dress that I want to wear.....but, given their shipping, I am thinking it is probably too late for me to order it (tonight) and count on it arriving in time. Do YOU think I would receive it by Friday, sept 10, if I ordered it tonight? (I forgot to mention....I live in Nashville).

If I liked it enough I would order it tonight anyway and have a backup plan/outfit if it didn't arrive in time, but that's just me.

You could but I would have Plan B all ready to go. It's really hard to say in my case on the West Coast that would be a big NO. I order it takes at least 4 to 5 days to get it out and then another week or so to get here. I plan on a long wait except for food items when I order from the Q it's just the way it is right now. You probably could get it if you were willing to pay more for shipping. I would call Customer Service and see what your options are and if it would be worth the extra money to pick a faster shipping method.

Check out Amazon Prime fashions; if you find something you like the price is right and delivery is fast. If you need to return it, returns are free and refunds fast!

I seriously doubt if you will receive it in time. Lately I've had some jewelry items ship out super fast which surprised me. But overall shipping is still very much hit or miss. And I do think clothes are definitely the slowest of all items to ship.....it can take awhile.

Most likely not. September 11 is a Saturday and the Monday before is a Holiday. It is also right in the middle of the Jewish Holiday. So it really is not 10 days. QVC's standard shipping is 10 business days. I have ordered expedited delivery and they have missed the delivery date every time. Their problem is in shipping from QVC.

What is the item? It it is brand new, in my experience fashion items take forever to ship. QVC also seems to have a hard time shipping clearance items, or the last of an item. So I think they deliver the fastest in the middle of the qvc life of the item, if that makes sense, meaning some have shipped (you can see reviews), but plenty of inventory left.

I did get the jewelry items I ordered on the gold day sale super fast. I actually tried to cancel an item the day I ordered and they said no, it was already in shipping. I got it in 2 days. Most things take 2 weeks to arrive. They were probably thinking "we can't believe these people bought these unbelievably expensive items, lets ship them fast..."

Maybe ... maybe not. With all the complaints about receiving items, why would you put yourself in that position and then create a poll about it?

Expedited shipping might be the way, but that's still a gamble.

Just out of curiosity, what is the item number for the jacket?

It would be a risk to order something you need by a specified time. I ordered something and it shipped very fast but it went to the big city next to me and dissappeared from the tracking. Who know when I will get it. Q is slow to ship usually and then was the post office gets it, it may take travel the country before it comes your way.

I would be shocked if you received the jacket by next week. With all of the shipping problems QVC is having lately, it seems highly unlikely and most people seem to agree.

I see some have mentioned to upgrade the shipping if you really like it that much, but even that is not a guarantee.

My thought is that you should try to find something else you like that you can get in time. Good luck!

@Goldengate8361 With my luck, if you didn't need it in 10 days, you'd get it. However, since it is time sensitive, no.

You could take a chance and the return if it doesn't meet your time schedule. Personally, I'd find something else to wear.
