      <description>&lt;P&gt;I ordered Slatkin candles that were an advance order, they were to ship on Aug.2...called twice with no answers to why they haven't shipped yet. They have shown up for sale and in stock since. &amp;nbsp;Add this to the list of problems with QVC lately, never have I seen a company's service go so badly downhill. Other places that I shop on line are back up to par with shipping, so can't pandemic any more.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;Those items you are seeing as "in stock" might be advanced orders.&amp;nbsp; You wouldn't know they are advanced orders until you place an order.&amp;nbsp; Then it shows "advanced order."&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;Sometimes there's no way to know whether QVC has an item "in stock," physically available for immediate shipment, in their fulfillment centers before an order is placed.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;You also mentioned "backorder."&amp;nbsp; Does it say that or "advanced order?"&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;If you are seeing "backorder," I think they are selling without stock.&amp;nbsp; In other words, placing an order with the manufacturer, then selling it right away before the items are even made.&amp;nbsp; &lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I like Slatkin candles...all good candles, but they are not a life sustaining item.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Just be patient.&amp;nbsp; It's just a candle.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;All retailers WANT to make the sale but these are not normal times.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;As others pointed out, shipping issues beyond the vendors control have caused many items to be delayed.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Our company had an order of sewer pipe delayed 6 weeks and then they couldn't find a truck driver to deliver it.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

We are experiencing shipping delays due to Covid-19 and have a large volume of orders, so we cannot give you an exact date.       <description>&lt;P&gt;I saw on the local news that there are shipping delays once again - this time due to some back up on cargo ships coming from China. I am not sure exactly what it was, but they did say to expect delays on items especially come the holidays. I have also noticed more and more of the on air items are advanced ship weeks. My guess is the orders are put in over a year or more ago but covid, and the shipping lane backup, and of course the larger problem is there is the shortage of workers.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;But I do understand that Aug 2 is a long time to wait. I am still waiting to hear about a return I sent on August 1st and it took a while to get a shirt I orderd a couple of weeks ago. I usually don't mind the wait&amp;nbsp; but then I saw all these reviews posted while my order remained in process for awhile. I just wanted to make sure I was still getting it and it wasn't backorderd.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Maybe on the shows the hosts should be more up front about the shipping situation and then people would be less upset when it takes awhile.       <description>&lt;P&gt;Based on my own research/purchases/talking to those who work in the biz.....&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I believe QVC/HSN had these shows and products planned some time ago and thought (like everyone else), that these "issues" would be fixed. Well, they are not, and won't be (IMHO) for a very long, long time. Perhaps this will change where items are made; perhaps not. But selling them while not in stock (Back ordered) is kinda the norm now. Don't like it and is why I'm not ordering much online UNLESS it states "in stock" ; non of the shopping channels&amp;nbsp;show this so....they're not getting my money right now.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;PLENTY of other places to shop and PLENTY of other places DO have the items on the shelves/in their warehouse. This tells me poor planning on the part of those that don't. I've had no issues with shipping times either.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I personally don't believe that the shopping channels are up front with their customer regarding MANY things including the availability of items offered. How that is going to work for them awaits to be seen.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

I did order the fall set of 3 and requested priority shipping just to avoid the melting of the candles in our 90 degree weather....and I had no problems, it was quickly shipped and received and the candles were perfect....&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

THOUSANDS of&amp;nbsp; Ford automobiles are just waiting for chips to arrive so they can be to be installed.&amp;nbsp; There are problems absolutely everywhere.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Just this week, I have had 3 IN STOCK orders cancelled.&amp;nbsp; Two from Amz and one from Wally.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;All items were shown as in stock when I placed the order.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I did eventually get emails that due to unforeseen circumstances, they were unable to fulfill my orders.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It is not just QVC.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

All three were showing in stock, available, when I ordered them. Next, the items switched to "in process". Next, they switched to "back order". I decided to cancel all three. When I checked the back ordered item&amp;nbsp;right after I canceled it, it is still showing "available". Go figure.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
