      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4"&gt;There must be a preferred customer.&amp;nbsp; There isn't any other answer as to why a stock item is taking 6 days so far to ship and maybe more keeps telling me it's processing.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4"&gt;Seriously, when you purchase an item its for immediate satisfaction knowing the product is so noted in stock.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4"&gt;When it takes a week maybe more to get out the door, really who wants it, let's cancel and move on.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4"&gt;If you knowingly purchase an item that is backordered for on extended delivery, you know you won't get it for whatever time allowed so I can deal with that.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4"&gt;There must be preferred customers because they must be pushing someone like me to the back of the line.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I spend (spent) a lot of money at QVC.&amp;nbsp; I would think that I would be on that preferred list, lol.&amp;nbsp; But my orders have been "in process" for a long time too - like over a week, without me being able to cancel.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Their system just does not seem to work well for everyone.&amp;nbsp; I am finally getting tired of the slow shipping, the slow return credits, the pricing games, the products and the hosts.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I am gratefull that I have purchased some great things from QVC - clothes, jewelry, and facial and make up products.&amp;nbsp; But I have everything I need now, so it is time for me to pull back from QVC and to use and enjoy what I have, without getting sucked into buying anything more.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

I was able to cancel.       <description>&lt;P&gt;Not aware of any preferred&amp;nbsp; customers -No recent discounts or specials for long time customers .&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I've had some&amp;nbsp; QVC orders&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; take forever&amp;nbsp; while in processing status. I've had other orders that were processing suddenly be delivered .&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;I have purchased from other online companies LL Bean and items were marked as backorder or&amp;nbsp; some items that were in stock had delayed shipping dates . Same&amp;nbsp; thing happened with The&amp;nbsp;Company Store&amp;nbsp; on delayed shipping&amp;nbsp; notices.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;A couple of months ago I had an Amazon order&amp;nbsp; that was " lost " in the mail system&amp;nbsp; which suddenly showed up 2&amp;nbsp; 1/2 months later .&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I just have accepted that items ordered&amp;nbsp; are going to be delayed .&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I've been buying locally from brick &amp;amp; mortar as much as possible&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The only&amp;nbsp;preferences that I've seen are some posting topics are poofed over others .&lt;/P&gt;</description>

But I think people will find even b&amp;amp;m aren't getting in their merchandise in a timely fashion. I went to my Target the other day, where about a fifth of the shelves were empty. Back to school area seemed to have a third of the items from years past. Summer items that usually would have been on the floor three months ago was out as new stock.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I just shake my head sometimes at some people.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I ordered a book on Amazon for a granddaughter's bday; it took 7 weeks to arrive, despite my inquiries. It was traveling from Cedar Rapids, Iowa to Houston,Texas.....then the bookseller started asking me for a 5 star rating and review. Um....no; not when there was never an explanation for the delay and I didn't receive it in time for her birthday. I have learned that ordering things that are in the Amazon warehouse in my state is the only possible way to get anything in less than a week. Of it comes from any other place, just don't expect it for a long time. As long as I know it is on its way and can track it, I am fine with it. It's the time-sensitive stuff you can't count on.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;I, too, do not really understand this need for instant gratification and then disappointment and anger.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;I guess it is the modern world of everything fast and short attention spans.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;I am a planner-- I purchase items far in advance from when I need them (birthday and holiday gifts, etc.).&amp;nbsp; That is why I like QVC CIJ so much.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;When I shop on impulse and just find something pretty I want, I have the patience to wait until it arrives, because I want that particular item.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;Another story-- I ordered more checks from my bank more than a month ago and they are still stuck somewhere in the DHL warehouse.&amp;nbsp; So it is not just UPS, USPS, etc.&amp;nbsp; The bank will NOT reprint them-- I had to reorder using the next set of 80 numbers.&amp;nbsp; Those checks will be shipped Fed Ex. Hopefully one day one of the sets will arrive.&amp;nbsp; This past year and a half has just been really disruptive to all of the world's industries, especially shipping.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I guess it depends on what someone's definition of "immediate satisfaction " is.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;For me if it's an immediate need I would quickly go out to the nearest available store.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Waiting 5 or 6 days won't satisfy an immediate need (I wouldn't think.)&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I've done my fair share of ordering for various places and QVC was by far the worst.&amp;nbsp; It took 10 days before they even shipped my order and it was not an advance order.&amp;nbsp; Once it finally shipping, it was here within a couple of days.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
