I am unable to view the Facebook Public pages - Are they no longer available?

I don't have a Facebook account, but I like to check in on some of the hosts public facebook pages but recently I no longer am able to view the public pages. It comes up that I have to log In first. Is there something wrong or has facebook changed the public viewing feature? Thank you for any input you can give.

I use Safari on an IPad. I do not have Facebook, and I used to be able to view Public Facebook pages. About 6 months or so ago, that changed for me and I can only view parts of the public pages. And sometimes nothing at all.

Maybe Facebook has changed their settings for public pages......

I don't have facebook either but I use to be able to look but now it ususally tells me to sign in. I don't post anything and I don't want to post anything. Not sure why you need an account to look. Oh well.I watch youtubers now

Going back a few months I suddenly couldn't view them either. It kept telling me to sign in then kept telling me my password was wrong, I know it wasn't. Plus I had to keep identifying which pictures on the screen had certain things, like mark which pictures had a red light, or a bicycle or a bridge or whatever. Over and over and over.

Eventually I got a message telling me I had to send a photo of myself to prove I wasn't a robot. My son used my ipad to take my photo which they said would be deleted as soon as my identity was okay or passed or however the heck it was worded. He took care of whatever other baloney had to be done along with the photo and VOILA....a couple of days later I received an e-mail that I was back into the Facebook fold. Sure enough now I can look at them.

I do not have a Facebook page, I only look at public pages of a few people.
