Sharing a pretty Jersey Shore picture

My cousin lives in a popular New Jersey shore town and captured this lovely picture that I thought you would enjoy seeing.

UPDATE: Since many have asked if this was sunrise or sunset, I asked my cousin when she took it and she said it was sunrise! Thanks for the compliments. She retired recently and her husband gave her a SLR camera to help occupy her retirement hours. She's taken some beautiful pictures which I will share. She has no experience taking photos but seems to have a knack for it.

I would guess that's probably sunset. In NJ the sun rises over the ocean and sets over land or bays. That's not ocean, but only @ciao_bella can tell us if it's sunrise or set.

In either case, a beautiful photo. I love the balance of colors.

NJ born and raised, Haven't lived there in 21 years but always loved the Jersey Shore. Love it. Thanks for sharing.

Good question regarding sunrise vs sunset. However I live in RI and there are many spots on our coastline where the sun does set partially over the ocean. Depends on the location you are in, this could be a sun set for sure. Either way it's lovely and thank you

The picture is absolutely beautiful. If your cousin keeps taking pictures like this one she will soon be a professional photographer.
