Yes, so true. Been thinking of selling and moving to a lower tax state for the last few yrs.

Property in my area is selling for a premium as there is very low inventory , so now may be my time to move.

Just finished writing the check for the property tax and waiting until it is 9:00 to go and pay our taxes.

It is crazy. I have watched friends, neighbors and relatives move to Florida. I keep wondering when the state will run out of room.

Okay, I will say it - enough already! My cute sleepy touristy town is getting too crowded. We have an on-going debate about lack of parking downtown. Some want a 5 story parking gargage, most others say absolutely not. If it grows too much more, I won't want to live here.

I won't be going to Florida. While the draw to Florida is appealing because of their lack of State income taxes, I'm not sure property taxes rival that. Besides it depends on which county much like every other state @Foxxee

Moved to Florida from S Carolina. Property taxes in SC are much lower than here in FL.

kI would think people in Florida would be moving out. Covid is a big issue there
