First of all, a BIG THANK YOU to all who have kept Cricket in your thoughts and prayers. She seems to have turned the corner and has been eating as she should since Thursday. She is perky and playing some. She enjoyed being outside while we mowed and weed whacked (and it is now storming...you're welcome our area of Texas).

The news about sweet Cricket is so uplifting and wonderful, it brings a song to my heart and a big yes smile to my face! I believe all the love and care you both give her has been a big part of her feeling better. She is a lucky dog to have such caring parents. I hope she continues on this road day by day, it's a sunshine time at the Wick's no matter how many clouds are in the sky!!!!

It looks like the bucks and does are happy for the good news too!!!

Cricket looks so much better! Glad she's eating. I showed today's deer photos to my son. He remembers how much I fed mine!

And the deer have come to see her too!

And again, they are ready to move in!

@MamaWick I am so glad Cricket is doing better. It's good to hear that she's eating and playing. I know you are relieved.

It looks like the deer are right at home, up on the deck waiting for their afternoon treats.

@MamaWick This truly is wonderful to see Cricket looking so good and interacting with the deer. Cricket says, hey, this is my turf you are just visiting. LOL that one Doe got very friendly coming in your seating area. I bet they are looking for carrots. Have a pleasant evening.

What a feeling of joy and relief! How wonderful that Cricket has improved so much that she is almost unrecognizable from the ailing and sleeping little girl of several days ago.

May her health continue to improve!

Again, I can't tell you enough how thrilled and happy I am for precious Cricket!! She is such a little darling and I have been so worried about her! She does look so happy and perky in the pic!

No storms for me here just yet. You're a bit farther north from me. I just keep seeing the flash flood warnings for our county but no rain yet. I just want the temps to come down as they showing, at least for the next few days!

Love all the deer pics as well! So cute!

Please give darling Crickets lots of hugs and love from me!

So good to see Miss Cricket looking perky. Thanks so much for the deer pics too. Such a joy to see. Our deer can't get close to the house because of chain link fence and our dogs. They just saunter by saying "yeah we are safe from you guys inside that fence". Now the pasture is another matter and they jump the fence constantly (I know because they break the electric wire at the top) and we walk the fence perimeters daily. Fortunately the goats and horses don't challenge the wire since they are not air borne when they contact the wire.

@MamaWick Oh my! Cricket's fan club has come to visit and perhaps get some treats. 🥕🦌. I hope they don't leave "presents" on your deck-only good wishes.

The third picture looks like Cricket and the buck are having a conversation. Cricket is reminding then that it is her house and her mama & papa. She is still the Princess 👑.

Woofs of happiness, kisses, and gentle ear sckritches to sweet Cricket. She looks so much better and happier now. Glad to see that.

The deer inside the house reminded me of our neighbor, who had a pet deer for 10 years. They raised him from a baby, which is totally against the rules in our state. Nobody ever turned him in and Bullit lived 10 years. I think he gave up after the neighbor moved to a different state and could not take him with them.
