This is a sculpture titled "Love" by Alexander Milov from the Ukraine.

His quote:

“It demonstrates a conflict between a man and a woman as well as the outer and inner expression of human nature. Their inner selves are executed in the form of transparent children, who are holding out their hands through the grating. As it’s getting dark (night falls) the children chart to shine. This shining is a symbol of purity and sincerity that brings people together and gives a chance of making up when the dark time arrives.”

To me it represents the powerful presence of our inner child. As you can see they are both in adult bodies, but the child is in charge. If we don't tame our inner demons that child will wreak havoc in our lives.

I like this.

It makes me think about honoring our inner child, and the consequences of not doing so.

In this case, the couple have turned their backs not only on their inner voices, but also on each other.

Well, this sculpture is lost on me, esp. after his quote. But you know, in art, it's how the artist sees what he/she is doing. I just didn't understand it. Interesting.
