@MamaWick My thoughts are with you. I know how hard it is to have one so ill and not eating. You do the best you can do and be there for her. That helps you get through and her as well.

@MamaWick Could the hot weather be affecting Cricket's appetite? My dogs often skip meals or eat little in hot weather. Neither wanted any breakfast this morning.

That Buck's eye looks infected. He has no one to take care of it. I hope it can heal on its own. Maybe the carrots will help since they are good for the eyes. LIttle Cricket -- sending love your way.

@MamaWick Snickers doesn't like breakfast often unless I put something really special in it. A bit of tuna worked yesterday! Today small pieces of toast hidden in food.
The hot weather doesn't help! My son's Chow didn't want breakfast yesterday until I picked a piece of wet up and told her how good it was.
It sat on her black tongue a second before she ate all of her breakfast.

There are two new fawns following their Mamas here! They are usually at the lake because it's been dry.

I feel like I can touch the deer through that close-up. Amazing pics. I see that Cricket is resting comfortably. Love that blanket with the dogs on it too.

Every time the deer pics are posted, I think they can't get any cuter and yet they do! And love seeing the buck with his big rack.

@MamaWick Great pictures as always. Thank you! That buck looks like he has an extra "horn" poking out to the left of his antlers. Is he a "magic unicorn"? 🦄 Perhaps he is and has come to help Cricket. One can only hope.

Woofs, kisses, gentle ear rubs, and hugs for sweet Cricket. Prayers and good thoughts are continually being sent. Is she drinking and visiting the necessary? Unfortunately, I know first hand that it not an easy time for you.

That is quite a group of woodland visitors !!!!! The bucks are so majestic and the does so pretty, it is a delightful sight to see! Gentle creatures eating their carrots and feeling safe and content at the Wick's.

I hope Cricket gets her appetite back and has something to eat. She needs her strength. All who post here are most kind and caring and wishing her the best!

As far as Cricket... Oh dear, when our Golden is not herself I am a complete mess. I think I worry as much about her as I did my kids when they were young. **HUGS** to Cricket. ❤❤❤❤❤
