Ordered from Amazon right after noon yesterday and package was delivered before 6 p.m.

Cost $3 extra, but when you run out of dog treats, it is worth it!

Isn't that the truth. I do the same. My girl gets her treat when we go to bed and she sits there waiting. Spoiled, but that is what loving them does to us. Not spoiled, but loved.

That's why I love Amazon. I ordered a pack of 24 washcloths and a 100 pack of Crystal Light yesterday around 3pm. They just delivered my items a half hour ago. I have Prime so no delivery charge.

They certainly have this dialed down. I've only been with Amazon since 1999, but my experiences have been good with them and their customer service over the years.

Any delivery problems were more carrier-related than anything.

One cool thing with their own Amazon delivery service is that they take a picture of the parcel on your porch and email it to you with their delivery notice.

Recently, I had an Amazon delivery with their service and I went to grab it after I got the email. Well, imagine my surprise when there was nothing there. I went back to the email to see the pic and noticed that it was not my porch but did look like a neighbor's porch. I headed over there and, yup, they had received my parcel.

You also have the opportunity to rate the delivery so I always do that. Takes a few seconds and I think it's worthwhile. Usually, they are good after I had to contact them with an issue when they delivered a 40# plus parcel to the middle of my long driveway. I was really distressed because that is more than I can lift so I had to push it to my house, up the step, and into the house. So I called and asked if there can be delivery instructions like they have at UPS and others. She put 'leave at front door and ring bell'. Since then it's been great so I always respond to the email and let them know that.

I love, Amazon. My entire family is on the Prime account. Just had three deliveries a while ago.

I always check the pictures first. Don´t know why and I always leave a good review.

Last week I ordered an 18fl oz of Aveeno Lotion. It arrived and I looked at the picture before I went downstairs to get it. Looking at the picture, I knew something was wrong. The package was too flat. Got it, and of course it was empty. The envelope was cut on a slant and wasn´t able to be sealed properly. Of course the driver wouldn´t know what it should contain.

Anyway, called Amazon and received my lotion the following day. My cousin thinks we spend at least 1,000 a month at Amazon and sometimes it´s more.

Sometimes I feel guilty when I don´t receive exactly what i ordered and they say to ¨keep it¨ and send out the right item the following day. That´s Amazon.

Love Amazon! I order more and more from Amazon...less and less from my usual places. Better price...faster shipping...easy returns...a customers DREAM.

Living in a rural resort community, Amazon Prime is a lifesaver. Usually spend a minimum of $500 monthly. Been with them for 16 years and never had a big issue and I love making returns to local UPS store.

How could your ENTIRE family be on one Prime account? It doesn't work that way unless they all live with you. You can't share it with people across town @Sage04 Even then it's only one other person.

By and large, Amazon is great. Last Friday they had a sale on King Arthur organic bread flour where you got 12 two-pound bags for $18.97. (24 pounds in total.) But they shipped it from California via the USPS so it's coming, but it'll be a while. It made it to Kentucky on Tuesday and left there heading this way, so it should be here Friday-ish. I've never mailed anything that weighs 24 pounds, but I'm guessing it costs more than $18.97 to mail something that heavy. It's an interesting delivery option they chose.

Can you get it through their Fresh Section or Whole Foods? Though, if you could it likely wouldn't be the bundle you want.

@gertrudecloset I have a prime account which I "share" with my son (in the military) and daughter. And by share that means I give them my user name and password so they can watch movies. For my son when he is deployed it's been a great boredom lifter when he has been stuck in quarentine and for my daughter with 3 young kids the children's movies have been good for her. They also use it for occasional orders. So perhaps this is what she means by the "entire" family "shares" it One account multiple users. It does ask me to "approve" the login when my son has been out of the country and he always lets me know when it's him logining in.

I love Amazon Prime. I have changed over to one delivery day (Saturday), that way any items that I may order throughout the week are all delivered in fewer containers/boxes on my chosen day.

On the rare occasion when I need something sooner, I just select the earlier delivery date.

It's all covered by prime, which is money well spent.

@eadu4 That's the only way you can get around that Prime Benefit. When my son was still home, we used to split the cost of Prime. He would share it with me or vice versa. The member you share it with must reside in your household.

The only other way to do it is like you said which is to give them your credentials to use for purchases. I honestly wouldn't admit to doing this. But that's just me. I sure hope you don't get in any kind of trouble doing this. Amazon frowns on it and you are deriving a benefit not meant for you to have (by skirting the rule).

@gertrudecloset I SERIOUSLY doubt Amazon is going to do anything to me. They are still gaining 2 additional people who purchase from them. I think they can figure out I'm not in the middle east and northern VA at the same time lol. People do this all the time trust me. And it's not just Amazon. As long as a purchase is made they don't care. Just like people sign in and use other member's streaming accounts so too do other people sign in and use shopping accounts. As long as the Prime membership is paid, and there are purchases being transacted, they're good. And since the whole lock down debacle I seriously doubt they would even attempt to figure out who was in what household at one time. The only thing I give them is the benefit of Prime which is mostly a shipping benefit and perhaps some extra access to movies. Very few discounts. Again as long as a purchase is being made and King Bezos gets his $$$ it's all good. I also give her my Target red card sometimes if she needs it. My $$$ and I can decide who spends it. As long as the bottom line is they get their cut they aren't going to fuss about it.

@eadu4 yes but some would say, people like you who game the system costs others more. That merchants pass their losses on to us. I can't tell you how many times I've read people on this forum say this.

I doubt it's true all the time, but Amazon does want those annual memberships. If they thought like you do with "gaining more customers" they wouldn't have Prime Membership in the first place. It's obvious both aspects of their business model are important to them.

To make myself perfectly clear, I'm not judging. I don't know your circumstances. I'm just not going to embarass myself by cheering you on for admitting this. I'm just stating the obvious.

I doubt my son watching an occasional movie while deployed serving his country, and my grandkids as well (usually while she has them here at my house-since my granddaughter's kindle is on my account so I can manage what she watches and listens to here), and a once in a blue moon purchase badly needed in a hurry qualifies. And the stuff I order for her comes to me. I'm not stealing anything, Let me be perfectly clear I do the ordering, when anything was needed. And they got access to a couple of movies-which basically means I rented it for them. If that offended anyone on these boards and they want to report, arrest me whatever have at it. Sheesh. And I can guarantee you that the many people shoplifting have passed more costs on to you than my couple of movie rentals. If you think they don't know that millions of people do this in far greater amounts than me you're fooling yourself. I'd say your streaming companies would be far greater ticked off by others signing in to stream TV and movies on other people's accounts. They aren't buying anything, paying anything and they are actually getting the service for free.
