New nickname

Well changing my nic finally got me back. Thanks to the social team for their help. The Indoor Kitty is now QVC Kitty, but she still prefers the indoors. 😻

@QVCkitty1 Quite a few of us had to alter our nicknames. I went from Nicksmom to NicksmomESQ.Would have preferred to keep Nicksmom but I had no choice.

@NicksmomESQ I changed mine back by creating a new account..a new customer. It may sc*ew up the easy pay, but OH WELL, their problem. This stinks since I don't recognize my "friends" by new names. I think those that had to change nics should DEMAND to have it changed back. Afterall, this is THEIR issue, not ours. Why should we be inconvenienced?

I didn't see this before posting that I also had to change my nic as well. I was catter and now I'm catter70. Lets all keep our fingers crossed that it works.

Cakers3 was an old nic I used during one of the "upgrades" years ago.

I don't know if there is a Cakers1 or a Cakers2-might be or not. I know my altered nic has been used elsewhere by impersonators so who knows.

@Shanus. LOL Hilarious. Why? Because it's THEIR board. You are here because THEY are letting you be, on THEIR terms, IT snafus and all. And considering all your complaints and now encouraging people to make a DEMAND, I think QVC is being very nice to you.

how can a "new customer" still have 24K post count? and without a change of nic?

How were you lucky enough to maintain your post count @Shanus if you opened a new account?

i had a dickens of a time trying to sign in yesterday. changed my pw and then got in w nic in all caps. now was still signed in this morning. going to try signing out and signing back in. if i cannot get back in, it was fun posting w you guys!

I didn't have to change my nickname because QVC changed it for me! After days of trying to sign in, I finally got in, but it is now under Jan99 (formerly jannabelle)....I guess I had that "old" nickname some years ago. It's all just very strange and frustrating!

OK i was redirected to Q homepage repeatedly. had to change my NIC to get in. looks as though if i sign out again, in order to sign back in, i'll need to change nic again.
