Peels are good for nutrients, too. They love banana and orange peels. Also watermelon rinds.

You know @MamaWick, your pictures are so amazing I wish some National Geographic or something like that would contact you for a whole special about you and your deer family and of course your sweet sidekick, Cricket.

What a wonderful story that would be to share. But maybe that wouldnt' be good if too many human visitors came to see.

Still with your wonderful photos, a book would be lovely too.

Or just know that it means so much I know to me and others to close our day with these peaceful incredible pictures of these deer and your Cricket and Roo and an occasional Mr Wick I thank you again❤️

Mama Wick, I learned something again from you. I have a banana almost every morning on my cereal. I throw the peel away. Now, I will throw the peel out in my yard at night -my deer only come around at night. I never knew deer would eat banana peel. Do they like the banana fruit itself too?

Orange peels might be acidic to us, but who knows about deer?

@maximillian. The deer in the photo is eating the banana itself as well as the peel. By the look on the deer's face, it is really enjoying it.
