The Queen has visited HMS Queen Elizabeth on Saturday morning ahead of the flagship's 28 deployment
The monarch, 95, arrived by helicopter on board the aircraft carrier at Portsmouth Naval Base for the tour

My stretch of imagination is;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;I'm reading her red as an unspoken message that she is okay.

Often we hear of weeks or months of a family wearing black - and crawling in a hole.

Red is beautiful on her and don't ever recall her wearing that much of the color.

She does look beautiful in that outfit and color but it seems so warm looking for Spring. She always looks so lovely in pastels,too It looks Autumn and Winter to me. But it's hi 80's here so maybe it's just me. I'm hot after yard work. 😎

@KingstonsMom and anyone else who posts pics of the Queen and royal family.......thanks. It is so good to see her out and about again, knowing how sad she must be. She is such a strong person!! I admire her! And that red hat sure goes w/her gray hair!

I love her wearing red. She really radiates.

I'm most impressed with her ability to move on past adversity and pettiness that others seem to lack. She's very gracious and admirable.

@BirkiLady I know a couple of old jet pilots who always size people up as what kind of wingman they'd make. She would top the list I suspect.

@fthunt I think your interpretation of an "unspoken message" is right on. My first thought at seeing the photo was, "in a blaze of glory." I cannot help but think Prince Philip would be proud.

Always a class act...Has had a blessed but turmoil filled life, and always "did her duty" and stayed the course. Need a woman to emulate and admire, look no further

I like how she looks down to watch her steps...wonder if she would ever take someones arm?

Harry should look to her for a guide to life...Yes, there are hardships and difficult times, but you dont cut and run, or criticize others. Signity, loyality, and love for family and country.

@KingstonsMom - TY for posting these pics! Isn't the saying "Keep Calm and Carry On" a British one? She epitomizes that. I admire her so much!

It's hard to believe with the sadness of losing Prince Philip and the disappointment with what Harry continues to tell about life in the royal family she could look so good. Most of the time if someone has been through tough times the spark in their eyes is gone for a while.

She truly cares about the British people!
